Funny how Marshall disappeared once all the cheating Butch Davis and his program are doing up there in Chapel Hell came out.

I was on vacation with no access to the internet.

As far a Butch Davis cheating. I'm finding that hard to believe. He just didn't have the right people check and making sure his kids were doing the right thing.

I agree with Steen no way UNC is ranked at the end of the year.

Clemson looked poor on Saturday, D wasn't tackling well, Parker wasn't hitting the check down and his accuracy was off, receivers are still subpar as expected. Hopkins and McNeal both made a couple plays though, I expect them to be starters by the end of the year freshman or not. On the bright side of things our O line was giving Parker a day and a half to not make the checkdown, and 2 hundred yard rushers is always good, also very few penalties. I would hate to be in the film room with Kevin Steele on Sunday though I bet he laid into those guys something awful.

I'll bet you UNC is ranked higher than Clemson at the end of the year. How about a case of beer. With that case being under 20 dollars.

the clemson O line looked good against one of the worst ranked NCAA teams

The D, parker and recievers had a hard time against one of the worst ranked teams in NCAA

So Bill offered $100 straight up after the USuC game but before the Clemson kickoff. Then offered $200 after the Clemson kickoff, but according to your comprehension he doesn't want to risk $100 on the Tigers? I'm confused, have we been reading the same thread?

And I agree the Tarheels looked good, however I don't have a whole lot of faith in LSU this year. I say they will be 6-6 on the season, and so will the Heels.

As far as last nights game, VT looks tough to beat this year. That VT/Miami game looks to be a good one down the stretch. Will probably decide who gets to go to the ACCCG.

Jeremy

Look ...for ALL you CU dummies. I OFFERED the $100 bet. NOT BILL.
Now HE wants to name the terms of MY BET.
If Bill doesn't want the bet or wants to wait till kickoff.......you be the judge of who has gonads in this discussion.
NO bet with you CU losers. Geesh you guys can't even read.
My bet is now with Upstate Cruisers. USC loses I owe UpState Cruisers $100. So simple even a caveman could understand. Now a CU grad....that's a whole other level of dumb.
Call me a coward...I don't care. All I know is not a single Moo Uer has the guts to do the same.

I'll take it.

CU wins you pay UC, USC wins I pay UC. 1 Benjamin, right?

Jeremy

Way to go Jeremy! All for a good cause. UC is guaranteed a winner!
You've restored my faith in Clemson !
Now...let's hope the Tigers go on to a great year.
Go Tigers!

There you go quoting last year again, that team returned 19 of 22 starters they are going to be much better this year. If you could watch that RB and say he doesnt have talent then you are a liar.

anyone can throw a TD against the citidal and wake...

Interesting. Here's one for you: tell me out of Wake, the Citadel, Clemson and South Carolina, which school most recently won a conference championship title and played in a BCS bowl game???? :flipoff2:

Should be easy to eliminate USC right away since they've never won anything worth noting in the SEC and you'd have to go back to the 60s to talk about titles of any sort.

Perspective. It usually helps to have some. :grinpimp:

they do have a stellar RB...I'll give that to them. However i'm not sure that that the RB had anything to do with Parkers lack of decision making, going through his progression and the WR's being less than desirable.

Caution: objects in the rear view mirror are larger than reality.

You know...like the older I get the faster I was.

"Played in" being the operative word. Like the Boss says "Glory Days".

Yeah, they can read. Anybody that missed it the exchange goes from #2288-2305. Have a good laugh.
I rest my case on the evidence.

Thanks for the entertainment. You've proved my point.

Love ya buddy. You're in the perfect profession. Glad you didn't move on into politics.

Rescind this :bounce:

are you talking about the S.Car 69 ACC championship season?

A title that clemson has yet to accomplish?

and how can you look at Clemsons scheduel this year/last year and claim it's anywhere near as difficult as A.Car's.

Yeah that little ACC title that we won too many times to count. Put down the crack-pipe, it's getting late. O and a little National trophy in 1981. Glory days, Clemsons got'em, USuC doesn't.:flipoff2:

No doubt USC has a tough schedule, I'll give you that. Let's see how strong it is at the end of the season though. A lot of top 20 teams that will no doubt fall back.

which was my point exactly

The top twenty will probably be more jumbled than bingo ping pong balls this season but we all know that a one loss florida or bama will still be in the top 20 if not top ten by the end of the season. Auburn will probaby end up in the mix for a long haul aswell.

If S.Car, Ga or TN end up with a few big wins (and all of them have the scheduels to do it) will also have the chance to jump up in the rankings.

And we play all of them this year.

For all the smack you guys talk about us, S.Car is our states only hope to bring the NC back to SC which is good not only for S.Car but the entire state.

By todays standards i'm fairly sure that this year will be another year in which a one loss SEC team would be picked over any perfect ACC team for the NC.

It's COMPLETELY a waste of time to even be talking polls let alone NC after 1 week. Focus on something a little closer, like stopping 70+ yard punt returns on Saturday.

Jeremy

unlike Clemson we are playing a real team this sat rather than another highschool team.

With Ga and FL being the only two teams that really stand in our way to gaining top spot in the SEC east this sat is probably the second biggest game of the season. The biggest being Florida.

Not sure if you've realized it or not but this years team looks like the best we have had since Holtz took us to back to back outback bowls.
