Looks nice - I checked out the gallery on their website for more porn. ;) BTW, the covers for the windshield wiper arm bolts are still available. A little detail. Personally I would've like to have seen the ash metallic grey colored windshield wiper arms/blades. Seems like that would've been the better choice since most of the other "accessories" are ash metallic/grey/silver.

And your upholstery is always top notch but you should checkout @Racer65's near OEM mats to include in your builds. The sewn ones look pretty good but the formed/molded PVC can't be beat! He has rear mats too that look OEM.

I also checked out those pictures, and I was curious about the cover over the wires for the rear license plate lights on the amby door. Is that a later factory part? I haven't seen that before.

I don't believe these were ever offered factory. Although we add them to most of our builds to polish off the look of the doors. It really cleans up the wiring nicely.

Please please please swap out those Stanley POS screw drivers for at lease a set of Vessels, better yet get the OEM ones which are still available. Looks like you weren't able to source a Cali spec Thermal Reactor exhaust manifold? The rubber elbow on the air cleaner should point towards the fender. Can you get the carb cooling fan to kick on? I don't think the 77 had the fold out legs on the jump seats. I'd swap out all the worm gear radiator clamps for OEM. All this is picking gnat s*** out of pepper though. The thing looks great!

If I may comment on one thing. The FJ Co. said from the beginning ( with a few improvements ) so nitpicking about how it should of been from the factory is kinda silly. On the winch rollers, I also Cad. plated mine, but if you're going to use the winch, I'm thinking a better option would be to turn down some stainless steel ones. Just a thought.

I'll say it again, keep doing what you're doing!

As promised....a few interior/engine bay pics....

How about a factory Nippon-Denso A/C unit to compliment this tasteful restoration.

California Spec...ready for smog

Our upholstery team knocked it out of the park again. Beautifully tucked leather, all new door panels, great contrast against the mustard yellow.

1. Looks like you weren't able to source a Cali spec Thermal Reactor exhaust manifold?

2. The rubber elbow on the air cleaner should point towards the fender.

3. Can you get the carb cooling fan to kick on?

4. I don't think the 77 had the fold out legs on the jump seats.

5. I'd swap out all the worm gear radiator clamps for OEM.

6. All this is picking gnat s*** out of pepper though. The thing looks great!

1. Yes I know, the screw drivers aren't exactly Snap-On but they aren't that bad. We are currently working on offering an OE set of screw drivers to fill our tool kits with.

2. Good catch, no we aren't using the thermal reactor manifold

3. Yup

4. I believe so, not sure off the top of my head exactly when they switched but these are original to this truck.

5. Yes, good call, these were actually swapped out after the photos.

6. Keeps me on my toes, all good and welcome!!!

Very cool that you guys have chosen to spruce up old Land Cruisers for people. Here's to many more years of The FJ Company's successful building, selling, enjoying and providing for all your families.

I'm sure there are many "home brew" Land Cruiser guys who are rooting you on. I am one.

Definitely oem as @akingf5371 said... these had been in conversation here before ... these are the numbers I just checked out quick...

Rear door wiring protector

HT ambi doors # 67398-90801
45 troopy # 67398-90802 (edit: 2 at the end not a zero :) )
FST ambi doors #67398-90800

I think I had seen them on an Aussie site in aftermarket fiberglass as well

But it's not just one panel, its all the cancerous hacked up rusty parts.

Let's just say I want all hacked up 40's and all original 40's to survive. As a business, and time is money and you have clients, working on something like say a california 40 vs a Canadian 40 is more time and money consuming and that gets passed on to a customer.

I appreciate the FJco keeping things Toyota, and all their work, and agree with it. I also agree with keeping things original when original, but to alot of us this is our hobby. At least they keep it Toyota.

Anyway, nice work!
Yes but say u buy a rusty one for 5k compared to this one they used which was likely 15 to 20k. So that's 10 to 15k more money for hardly any rust, original panels with 1970s rust protection. Instead u could use that 10 to 15k on the rusty one installing all new panels with modern metal treatment and have no rust anywhere including in between the spot welds. I'd go for the rusty one.

Do you ever restore parts for individuals? Say the gauge cluster or seats.

That winch is a work of art! Too pretty to use possibly, but who cares!!

Do you make and sell the floor mat for over the counter customers? I could use one like that to finish off my 45 build.

The wire cover was standard on 82-84 FJ's

Thanks for clearing that up guys

No sir, only complete restorations, no individual parts as of right now.

No we don't offer them "over the counter" but they come free of charge with your restoration :)

Thanks for all the kind words and critiques as well!!!
