So other than a few little things and installing the exhaust manifold+turbo this FTE is built.

After many, many, months our wiring harness and H152 are finally ready and being shipped soon.
Bit of a stress on that one but it's sorted, I think.
Once that's fitted and sorted it can go into paint.

Meh...except for the My Little Pony mural, it's been done. There was (or is?) a 4x4 rental place at Fraser Island AU that had 'em. I bought some spares off one of these at a wrecker when I was living in Hervey Bay. Lol....Not sure it fits the "don't want to stand out in a crowd" ethos.

It crossed my mind haha Something about the black nose, different color primer doors/body and flares looks cool to me.
Wouldn't be great for resale (many, many, years in the future).
I will say, I don't think I want a high gloss paint. Maybe a semi-gloss.
Not matte, that looks trashy IMO.

Still plenty of time to figure that out though.

The diesel options back then were the s***ty Cummins potato chip 4/6 cylinder dentist engines…. Better have good dental insurance or be an airplane pilot ….
