Looks like you have mini truck hubs and FROR bracket. Why go with the 4Runner vs Tundra rotors/calipers? Just curious.

I looked at all the options. The 2017+ 4runner rotors and calipers were the largest available on lugs. I'm towing a trailer without brakes, so needed something that could handle it.

Yep I am going to bring some beers over and talk about this. Looks like you used the same style plate they use to do rear disk conversions. On mine I did a dual diaphragm booster with 7/8 bore MC and the 95 4runner 40mm. My combo will hold the truck in 1st

Nice. I've been thinking of keeping the 80 style master for the rear and needed to figure out what to do about the fronts.

I drink and come up with stupid solutions to problems i don't have. So I'm sure we can figure something out.

Well super excited. Good day. Good day. Got my radio today and my brackets were completed. I wasn't going to talk about it before I got to SAS, but I am super excited. It is still in the early idea but I got my brackets for the hammack. The idea is to swing out the rear latter and string the hammack to the bracket on the front bumper. I am a hammack hippie so I am excited being able to lay a hammock wherever I go.

I'm told this sounds like me, and I can't argue the point. Looking forward to seeing what we come up with.

I guess I’ve been away from mud for a while. I moved to Colorado and would love to come out to this event for a couple days. I’m assuming it’s it’s all sold out and no where to camp. Hmmm. Hotel time? How do I crash this party!!?

Well I know that @POTATO LAUNCHER always states that the trails are open to everyone. As far as camping, just gotta ask who has room.

Somewhere way back in this thread there was a start at putting together a list of who has what spares, tools, etc. Where'd that end up?

I thought @mattressking was keeping tabs on that.

If I did, I haven't seen/heard anyone on what they are bringing. I'll have at least the following:

Timing light
Vac gauge
Voltmeter/tach
Sockets/torque wrenches, including 54mm socket and breakers, and the usual flat/JIS tip drivers
box of spare hardware
ATF and coolant...rather buy locally if needed for other fluids

Hit up Classic Cruisers ahead of time since the convoy seems to stop there after a few beers at Soul Craft. I stopped in there while camping (cause my window handle broke), got a handle and the rubber cover to my brake MC for $5.

Spare parts rolling around in the back of my 96 80 series include, tie rod ends, fuel pump, fuel filter, relays and fusible links. I may have more stuff but some times I forget what I have. Ps I will bring my spare rear drive shaft.

Copied this from the Rising Sun 4x4 Club forum. I found it to be really helpful.

I think that was me. I dropped the ball on that. Getting my 40 project into a useable state has been my priority lately. I finally drove it to work today. Sitting outside the inspection place waiting now, hopefully I can swing by the courthouse after this and get some plates. We haven't even started packing yet. I was gonna do a shared google spreadsheet with tabs for 40s, 60s, specialty tools, fluids, etc. for folks to populate as they saw fit and add contact infoor campsite #. Still a valid concept, just haven't had time to execute. We're a resourceful and communicative group, we'll get help and resources to those who need it, list or not. I'm looking forward to waking up on a different day than I go to sleep soon, and seeing some mountains and convoys of cruisers!
