I don’t always carry this bag of goodies, but when I take the 60 wheeling out of state, it’s always with me. All packed in a HD Swedish Military Bag. With an inventory list so I don’t start digging around for something I don’t have.🙈🆘

I have registration and plates! 😀. I will be doing good to have 50 test miles on it before we leave.

Sidenote; does anyone have any "extra" extended rear shackles they can bring? I'll gladly buy them!
I have OME rear springs (was told they are the stiffer "hardtop" ones) with stock shackles and with zero load other than me, I noticed the shackle has rotated back far enough that the spring eye has hit the hanger, and thats just on the road.

The fun never ends. My buddy was going drive his 40, but while we were doing his suspension we decided it needed a knuckle rebuild as well as seals for the diff and other random things. It was too much for the little free time we have, so he decided he'll drive his Tacoma trd pro and ride the trails with me. Well now his automatic transmission is acting up. Backup plan is for him to take my manual Tacoma and drive it there if the dealer can't figure it out by Friday.

Lesson here, don't buy an automatic when there's a manual option.

So for my first trip to Colorado, I will likely bring both red heads and not deal with their jealousy issues.

There needs to be a "community" SAS truck, build from everyone's leftover junk, useable but hideous - that we all dedicate a day to assembling one year from parts people donate. Then, when someone tries to sneak in an IFS rig, they get shot down and handed the keys to the community frankencruiser 😀.
Maybe Darrell should get this going, he will get a lot of use out of it! 🤣

Great idea Klaus. I would donate. Where would we build it though.
Whomever cancels their camping spot last minute 😅. I'm picturing a rust belt 62 with an ancient 1F running on 5 cylinders, no windshield and 3 different colored doors. 3 different colors because the 4th door just won't be present. The worst of everyones junk.

Well I mean I do have an RV spot and it's just me and my 60 in it.....

Solid idea! I'm sure classic cruisers could provide some assistance with sourcing an otherwise used up chassis.

Did you just describe my truck?

You sure those won’t pinch your toes? They look awfully small.👍🎯🇺🇸🥾
