Anyone have a spare spot at a campsite? Just messaged @1997 FZJ80 40th about his spot but if anyone has a spare spot for my truck and I, I can send some money your way. My lodging plans changed and now just me coming on the trip.

KOA is apparently full. Those of you needing a place to stay I highly recommend 4J+1+1 as a great place to stay.

As for sharing spaces I’m pretty sure it’s againt campsite policy, but I could be wrong. If it’s not and there’s room with our monster tent we could share. We do have kiddos just fyi.

Asking for a friend... Does the camp ground have hot water for showers??
They do. I think there are a couple of shower houses. A really nice one by the entrance and another (by where I sayed two years ago) farther in the back of the grounds. The back one isn't fancy but very adequate. Early bird gets the worm there fyi. Or stand in line.
I'm not even a big coffee drinker but I'm excited to try this out!
Still planning on making it. My current status is:
Cannot get a drip of oil flow to the trans coolers, all lines and coolers clear. Either a plug in the trans or a bad trans. Fluid is pretty bad. Drove fine so I was suprised to find this last night.
Driveshafts are off, lines off, some other small stuff off. Heading to my shop in a minute to check over my spare transmission. It's an unknown but was running when it was rolled over 10 years ago. It's super cruddy so I'll clean it up, pull the pan and check, install, replace all fluids and cross fingers.
No pressure, but I hope this one has pressure

So another change for the 100000x.. KOA called and said they have a cabin available which I book that instead of the one at 4J. It can sleep up to at least 3 people possibly 4. Again it will just be me and my dog. So if anyone needs a room let me know.
happy about this one because this is at KOA. I only booked from the 7-10th because I am planning on stargazing myself! Is that still the plan?

Awesomeness, thanks for getting this out there. Are the TPs unavailable? Thought that might be cool at least once.
someone would have to call to be sure, but when I checked online everything was booked.. They are all wondering why it's so busy during the week haha..

If there’s extra room at our camp we can share. Also people can camp up at Ironton, it is a large open free camping area 1/2 way up red mountain pass.
