Ours came from Tennessee but we transported it. Would of loved that drive if time (and work) allowed it. No better way to get a feel for a car than a long ride

I'm in Whittier, SGV.
I frequent Big Bear with a group of jeeps, hummers, etc. We do either easy, med, or difficult trails depending on who is going. Usually a Friday so traffic and the trails are light. It would be Great to have more folks join. Or I'll join you guys. 3 kids here as well.

San Diego TLCA "Beach n' Toys" are headed up to Big Bear 8/24 - 8/26 if anyone is interested in joining. The group is grabbing spots at Hanna Flat campground, I'm going to roll the dice and seek out a Yellow Post site, which means I'll prob try and head up the Weds prior, Thurs at the latest. August ROTM, Big Bear 8/24-26
What kind of trails are you guys going to run?
Should be a mix, there are some guys heading to the hard ones, but that may be the minority of the group. I haven't decided what I'm personally up for, mayyyybe will run Holcomb Creek but prob not the other two hard ones. There's a mix up there, some easy and some moderate.
I’m stock with some semi bald bfg, I might be able to get some new tires before then. It sounds fun I’ve been wanting to go check out big bear trails I just got to get the ok from the wife.
If you go up 38, take 2N01 to Heartbreak Ridge and sidewinder. Not many folks on these trails. Then 2N01 over to Baldwin lake, then to the trash facility where Holcomb trail starts. Leads around back to 18.
Or come up 18 and take left onto Gold Mountain Trail. This one has steps / gates to get up, but the views are unbelievable. Very fun.
Avoid John Bull and John Bull Jr. in the Holcomb valley area. Those are serious rock climber trails for custom rigs.
