I think I actually made the same goof some time back when I first saw that post. My brain only saw suspension and my head fell off my shoulders (happens to me a lot lately....

Anyone headed/want to head to King of Hammers early February? There are a few from our local TLCA club going. Also another 200 from Instagram (no idea his Mud handle but he has a sweet white truck with gold methods and goes by "Overlanddad" on IG). I'm thinking of heading out after work Thursday Feb. 7 (not optimal but such is life...) and leaving on Saturday. The actual race is on Friday.
Unless @RET2 goes it'll just be me in the 200, the rest drive other Cruisers and Yotas. I've heard it's a madhouse too, another reason I'm just going for a couple days.

Just a day trip. Meet at McDonalds in Redlands on 38 (E Lugonia) and Wabash around 5:30am for a quick coffee & McMuffin. Gas station across the street, then head up 38 to 2N01 trail head and air down. Usually heading back to LA around 1pm, so you're home around 3pm. Weather forecast is good.
