I had to go back 4 pages just to find my thread, but I didn't want to junk up the Bonnie thread. Reading about Jim's sale of his wagon, got me somewhat sad thinking about it because I'm in my 70's and our turn will be coming some day to make that decision. So, I thought what a good day to jump back on the Mud Hen and work on the air bags, farm chores are winding down for the Summer and I felt the need to touch her ( can I say that out loud ). So, within 5 minutes I busted a knuckle on a u-bolt and called her every name I could think of, all the while with a smile on my face. :) I went as far as I could before supper and while walking out of the shop, I called out loud, header gaskets next, bitch! Looking back I swear I saw her headlights blink at me. ;)

Adventures don't end just because of a vehicle, as Jim would say....Onward!
Keep up the good work Ron!
Just a little busted knuckle every day will keep you honest...

I'm testing out a computer fix, hoping I can start posting new pictures. Here's my airbag setup...

And the air valves to fill them....

That’s a great mod. Love the Boss bags
They look to be very stout. I did add to the bracket that bolts to frame. It's set up to use the two bump stop bolt holes, but I added some flat stock and two bolts on the side of the frame, just because. I do have a problem with things loosening up and stretching.

Welcome back , I miss your write ups , When i first read AIR Bags , I was thinking ( Crash Air bags ) What is Scraps building now With you God given gift you could build them , Sweet set up on the Suspension

The temperature went from 2 to 62, so today I pulled the wagon out for some air and the old Cherokee is going in the shop for a rebuild. A friend of mine sent me a sticker and today was a good day to put it on the Mud Hen. You might know him as J Mack :)

Thanks Jim, I'm proud to have it on there.

We hope to see some more of our great country this Summer and add a few more stickers.

Wow you get around , Me Jealous , That Mack sticker is cool

Scraps, that air bag system is really cool! Can it be used to level the car at camp sites?
I don't think you'd get a lot of lift and only in the rear, more for a saggy azz when loaded up.

I am a little surprised that you have a manual air up system vs some joy stick to modulate the air pressures!
Now that would be cool. :hmm:
