This came less than a week after a Florida family was rescued from the same pass.

I’m always surprised how people neglect to use common sense.
now this is not scientific, but I'd put $ on it....90% of the world's population lacks the ability/capacity/care to think past the next minute.

So close .. Texas............ I'm down there driving around at 3 mph.
Was going through some photos from August and came across these - Lee S. from the top of Engineer in his unimog. Can't recall if I've shared them already. To me the best part of SAS is the people we get to meet.

Lee is a good fellow and he lives a few blocks north of me. It was his first time wheeling that truck in the San Juans. he shifted at least 3 gears driving down the Black Bear steps. Pro.

I heard it was going to open up the 2nd week of February for those east of the Mississippi, except for Hoosiers, and the third week of February for those west of the Mississippi. We need a head start you know?Is registration opened up yet? asking for a few friends
That was a fun part of the trip.
