If he had planned it a little better, he could have just brought it along to the KOA to swap... like I'm planning to do.
Please tell me somebody here bought this when it was at auction so we can do a live motor swap at the KOA.

I tried buying this, didn’t try too hard though.
At least you could wheel with the Hilux not sure how good this would do.

ETA has crane on back.

IMO they would wheel about the same. Both IFS 🤷‍♂️ Cab forward would give you great view of the trail

Driver would be first to the scene of the accident, and there would be an accident with that for sure.
I did not know Hilux was IFS.

Actually some 89-94's from other than North America could have come with a solid front axle. A friend of mine had one.

You said wheeling 🤷‍♂️ I think for a Overland wheeler cab forward Dyna would be super cool

With luck, those issues are fixed. Hopefully bringing our son this year. He really enjoyed Moab last year.
Either we do a Bolam Pass Revenge trip, or pick something else. I’d love to meet him and finally spend a day on a trail with you.

On this week's episode of the Classic Land Cruisers Podcast @POTATO LAUNCHER rejoins me to quell my concerns and let me know what to expect in my first experience at the Solid Axle Summit for their 10th anniversary.

Finally getting to listen to this podcast. Things have been stupid busy at the office and I'm just now listening. Super glad to hear your Dad is coming, Dan @mtn biker, and hopefully your son, as well. You're totally right this is a multi-generational gathering. My twins have been coming since year one and Chanette's youngest daughter (15YO) came for the first time last year and swears she will never miss one going forward.

As Casey said, the airport in Montrose is super easy and only 30-40 minutes from camp if that helps you get the fam up there.

Great work, fellas!
