Just ordered some foam from mmacmaster. Gonna put a period on the seats and then got to build the seat brackets.
After that, not sure! Trying to keep the other one together and usable as long as I can before it gets parted over to the new one. Its got a couple more trips in it!

What are the advantages/ disadvantages of having the front window glued in?

Disadvantage or maybe an advantage for me- have to weld in some sort of boarder. I guess like our hero Brisvegan!

All things being ultimate in the world of Cruiser building, my goal would be stainless, flat-head, sheetmetal, Torx, but can’t get that combo through McMaster, so I’m not sure it even exists.

ive driven a heap of wet weather and no leaks yet. they used a thick bead of sealer on installion. only disadvantages i can think of are the clean up when replacing the glass

Mine is glued in, also. No worries that way.

Scrapdaddy did you make a larger rim for the glass to land on or did you just use the existing?

No mods to that area, just as it was from factory. I did mess with the dash area, though. I might add, I used a new rubber gasket as well as gluing .
