So… glitter?
Ha... No.
The other shop used a heavy flake silver metallic paint and it didn't look right to me on a 70's car bumper so I toned it down to a lighter flake silver..
It's a small change but it looks right when you see it.

WTF dat mean 🤔🧐😏🐖👈

Still going, root canal, cold weather/ wet paint and family from out of town has slowed some progress.

So the holes in the fenders are too big for the keepers, their fix was to roll up some sticky tape and hope for the best!
Unfortunately both sides were falling off under their own weight, this wasn't going to work long term or the first time you tried to wipe it down.

The studs are the same size as a #6-32 screw, I ran a die nut by hand and cut threads in the studs. These emblems are plastic but my pot metal emblems on my pig are held on the exact same way.

Not that this princess would ever go through a car wash but mine has made several trips and the emblems are still there!

I got lucky and was able to mount the bumper without smashing all the filler out.

Hopefully @Pigeaten will driving this truck before the price of gas goes back down.
The Pig Eater could drive it today if he was here, it is done as far as his list of wants and now I'm just doing the final build stuff like going over nuts and bolts one more time, checking A/C charge, touching up paint, all the little stuff.
