Hey everyone. i know I haven't posted in a while. I just checked on the latest updates for PPR and I'm trying to decide if I can make it. I've just been really busy lately. I'm trying to make it up Friday PM, but not definite yet. I may be caravaning w/ Bill. Does anyone know an idea or when everyone will be leaving Sun.?? I've also got a bit of minor trimming to do now that I've got my BFG M/T's on, just don't have any tools down here in Clemson.

I have talked it over with JP. Looks like I will be leading the 4pm group to camp. It will be a lot shorter going my way and will leave you plenty of time to unload you stuff at camp and go do some wheeling if needed.
I will also be coming up friday instead of tomorrow night. I have given Steve the key to the cabin. He will be up there tomorrow. See everyone Friday.

Its easy to miss the driveway to the cabin so I will place a wooden sign about 2' square with "UC" spray painted in red on the paved road. As Marshall pointed out I have plenty of spray paint.

....... as far as what time everyone is leavin on Sunday is quite variable; some will leave rather early like 9ish and others will take their time and probably be in no hurry and do some extra wheeling...... either way if you are looking to get back early or hang around enjoy the beautiful weather and maybe some sunday wheeling there should be some one for you to ride out with

Awesome, sounds great!! Like i told Steve and Bill, I've got some trimming I've got to take care of on the WJ now that i've got my new tires before i can handle serious wheelin. Other than that, I'm good to go. I just wanted to make sure I could handle that sometime and be able to get at a reasonable time. I'd love to get there on Fri., but I may have to wait til Sat at 11 am if I can't deal w/ the trimming here around Clemson. I'll be sure and call Marshall to let him know when I'm gonna head up when i know for sure. Thanks for the help and have a good one!

Well I'm almost packed - should be headed out of here in about an hour...

I'll be at the cabin by early afternoon unless I'm in town picking some things up. Also want to stop by an Army Surplus store in Clyde.
I'll be on CB channel 4 once I get close to Cullowhee. I won't have a FRS radio until JP arrives.
There will be a sign posted at the cabin's drive.
ETA: chance of rain has decreased Thurs and Fri 30% Sat Sun 10% - gonna be chilly at night - per weather.com (where is JP?)

I concur Steve looks like friday will be gray, foggy, and drizzle then Sat. morning things should clear out to give us two nice days of weather. Highs should range from 60-50 degrees depending on our elevation and low 30's at night. Could get a little windy
late friday night early Sat morning on the bald as the cold front passes through........... either way after friday it is shaping up to be a great weekendI am stoked
