Heading home in a minute to pack... and unpack a few cold ones from the fridge. Gonna leave early tomorrow morning to beat traffic out of Atlanta. I'll be at the park early (10:30 or so)... chomping at the bit to head uphill!!

JP, those pics look digitally enhanced... if that's even close to what it will look like in person we are in for a treat.

See you then!

So are we still having a 4 pm meeting time? that looks like when will work best for me. That or let me know where we will be and I can probably lead a group up if need be.

I found some spring pins and the Ware Shoals napa. (There are 12" long!!!) So hopefully they will work and I can get everythign wrapped up. Also had tp get a new batt as mine had given up. So if I can get some work in tonight then I should be good to go.

Is anyone bringing a stove or anything? Trying to figure how to get me some decent food and not feel liek I am trying to live off of junk. (I have a dutch oven that I just bought as well that I can bring.)

Yes there will be a 4pm group. Meeting at the normal spot at the park. Not the cabin. If your coming to the cabin do it before 3pm otherwise just go to the park.

foldin up the garage and heading out..... if anyones got FSR's would you mind monitoring channel 4-0 for me as ive never been to the cabin and i just cut my cb wiring. see you there!!!:bounce::bounce2::bounce:

89sRule-----I know I'll have a Coleman stove with me, Steve should as well. I'm sure that there will be many others too, so if you bring the pots/pans you need, then I think you'll be fine. Someone will lend an open burner.

Anyone---What is the plan for that 4PM group once they depart from the meeting place. Never been, so just trying to get an idea of what I'm doing once I get there? Jason said the cabin is relatively close to the meeting place, so if I need to get tools from there, then it'd be doable as long as I get there b4 3.

4pm group will be taking a gravel rd to the campsite. From there you can drop your stuff and wheel as long as you want. Cabin is about 3 miles from the meeting place. I'll be at the cabin till 3. I plan on coming up around noon to the cabin. The cabin is nice for a house in the country. There is no roughing it except for the lack of cable tv.

lol

Stars say I leave for the cabin tonight. I PMd Rick.
Everybody please pull for Va Tech.

Karl: I have 110V on the FJC, so don't stress about the trimming. I also have a Stihl heh heh heh.

Ya'll be careful out there on that asphalt.

Latest news... I remembered my hack saw that lives in the Jeeps's tool-bag. Got me a couple new blades and went at it tonight in the parking lot at my apt. The Driver's side is done(I think) and I'll do the Passenger side either tomorrow AM or early afternoon before I head up. See everyone at 4!!

Well I quit for the night. My ubolts wouldnt go back on. (I know I know I should get new ones.) So I am goign to go ahead and swap the extra leaf in the drivers side in the AM and see how far I get. If I can get that off in a reasonable time then I will run up to the Spring shop on 25 and get some new U-bolts made and come back down and put them on.

Other than that I need to put on some shocks and put the battery in and pack. Oh---and see if I can get the IPOR bumper installed, but if not I will be bumperless.

Whew...this is going to be cutting it close. But isnt that 1/2 the fun. Well that and wheelign a cruiser! :) Hope to see you @ 4!

im going rear bumperless... i haven't fixed my bumper mount from where my wife torqued it last year...
