Which header are these? I am looking at their site and seen a big selection of headers.

Reason I ask I want to add them to my spread sheet so when it is time for the swap I have everything in one place.

Out of curiosity, any word from Tor on why this particular fit doesn't seem to work as planned?
I wouldn’t say it doesn’t work because it absolutely does. To think you can have a 100% bolt on no problem LS or LT swap is unrealistic. The only thing I’ve had to do was swap headers and space out the gear box. Hell the factory crossmember even lines up.

That's fair. I was just surprised you needed to since Torfab's site specifically says you won't:

"I assume I’ll need to source 5th gen tight fitting headers. Any recs? You should use the truck or SUV manifolds that come with your donor engine"

Really just selfish curiosity since I'm planning something similar.

Ya I mean “technically” they fit but I did not like how close it was to the drive side frame

2 days spent on cleaning up and deleting wiring. I’m happy with how it’s turning out but man, that’s a lot of spaghetti to clear out. How the heck does a 6.2 V8 have less wiring that a 30 year old I6? 😂

When you done with all wiring please do one more video about wiring. What need need to be deleted what not. Tomorrow I'm going to pick up L86 /8l90 with 57k miles. I'm so excited

I went a different direction and dropped a Cummins in mine. A lot of the wiring deletes will be the same between the LS and Cummins. I have a couple of post showing how I did mine and included a pdf attachment with all my delete notes.

Update number…whatever this is:

After adding the Speed Engineering headers I had to replace the dip stick with one from Summit. It’s for an LT1 and clears the aftermarket headers. Chevrolet Performance Part # 12678823

Couple teaser pics.

Curious, what are you planning to run for gears? Watched a SwapTime YT vid yesterday that has me a bit concerned about the gear ratios and the 10/8 speeds. I know my 4.88’s will need to go and I don’t want to run larger than 35’s for a daily. Anyone have an idea on what the lowest numeric gear set is that we can get?
