yesDoes this top triangular gusset come off by itself without removing the side channels? If so, I may just replace it and save myself the cutting for that section of steel.

I believe it should, yours looks very welded in place. SOR has NOS ones I think
Those do come off and you can buy them from CCOT. I wouldn't bother trying to clean those up, better off spending that time cleaning up the frame.

Thanks, Tucker.Get some cheap fap wheel grinding disks at HF/Northern tool in a course grit...you'll burn through them but they save a lot of time

Sanded the front frame rails and sprayed a coat of Rustoleum. Put on a temporary stock front bumper until I decide which direction to go. Leaning towards the HFS winch bumper.
Went for a drive.

I've seen his rear swing-outs, but will take a look at the fronts. I'm looking for something simple that will fit an upright winch.Have you seen the 4+ bumpers? I believe he will do custom work as well and is a forum sponsor.
I have the 4 plus front and rear bumpers. He puts out Effing great work!

Or Trail Tailor, super simple and he will customize it to your needs.
So I emailed them to ask that question...Turns out that they do carry black, even though they don't advertise them for some reason. They make black ones? I thought they only made them in white. Cool.
