If you have rear drums, you will for sure need a residual valve on the rear line. Otherwise you'll have to double-pump the brake pedal to push the shoes all the way out.

The residual valve keeps just enough pressure in the line to keep the shoes at the ready.

Are you talking about the little proportion valve that hangs off the brake master?

Do you still have the old master cylinder? I believe it is

Maybe so. Sounds like I am confused.

Have you test fit the front seats with the new shifters installed? Curious if there will be any issues with the bench.

The drivers seat works. I don't see an issue there with this FJ-60 shifter. It's not bent back near as much as the 40 shifter I also have.

I got my clutch line in tonight.

Thanks Lash for loaning me the bender.

I lined my tranny hump with weatherstrip too.

I'm really getting close to having to bite the bullet and start fixing the burned out section of the wiring harness. I've just about finished Everything else.

I will also work on making some patches for the holes in the floorboard this weekend. I want them patched before I drive it the first time. The tub is as clean as it will ever be.

I'm holding off on putting the interior and the fuel together until I get the wiring done.

I can't believe it's getting to this point.

Take a pic of the burned out section.

Thank you sir. Since I'm on hold for hardware I'm sure I can find something on there to buy to get my parts pile started.

Nolen,

Buy me a set of these lights and you can have my s***ty old Patina appropriate lights.

Got the pics of my clutch line today. This aluminum stuff from the auto house is much easier to work with than the steel stuff.

So, remind me the proper method to bleed a clutch?

The top on this truck won't be coming off because it would never go back on.

The long jump seats will mostly cover this up but I would like to cover it with something after I treat the rust.

I'm thinking of using 3m weather seal from the outside in to get a good seal from dust and dirt that could one day be reversible if I had to.

I was thinking some sort of rubber strip along the rail. Cemented down. I'd love to have a formed piece but I don't know if it's available

I could tape it off and fill it full of foam like I did my cheddar cheese frame too.
