Also ATLAS is making reproduction door and cargo panels. Just wait for him. He has mine off my 55 to use as templates.

Very cool! I look forward to seeing these.

I whipped up a 4 to 1 bleach and water solution, put it in a spray bottle and hope to tackle the seats tonight. I am thinking about ripping out the remaining headliner since it is hacked up anyway and pitching the jute stuff up there also. I bet that is a little mold factory too.

Is SOR the only place to get a replacement headliner? I called the dealer and they want $750  but of course the headliner is unavailable. I need to call the dealer about a lens and light bucket for the rear left light combo since it is broken. Does not look like anyone has repro light buckets or lenses for 78s.

4/1 ratio seems really high to me. I would go with 10/1 ratio. Bleach is strong stuff.

I will test it out on the ripped up front seat first before taking on the mint condition rear seat then. I want to make sure I kill off all the mold and not take any chances. My wife won't even go in the garage it smells so musty. I have never had mold issues in my garage and don't want this truck to start an issue now. I may spray down the whole damn truck to kill off any roaming mold spores. The truck is so filthy now it will make working on it much nicer I think.

Looks like a "cherry" to me <grin>........btw 2 teaspoons sodium hypochlorite = clorox in 1 quart of water = 10 streangth Dakin's "goggle it" solution should kill most everything including TB and anthrax spores......

I hope my 4:1 suggestion doesn't mess you up, John. Perhaps a weaker solution is better?

If you need this there may be one at the local wrecker.

If you are willing to check that would be great. Neither the lens nor the bucket is available anywhere, even SOR. This is the shape mine is in. Anyone else know of one in the US you may be willing to part with or in a yard somewhere?

I'm sure the bucket is available. That lens looks like you could just reglue it if you can't find a replacement. I'd hang onto it as a spare just in case.

As for the bucket, if you want it PM me and I can ship it from Miami when I'm there for a conference in November.

PM sent, Thank You.

Here you can see the remnants of the Styrofoam and note the work my neighbor had done on the doors. He said when he received the truck the doors were all tweaked so he sent them out to have reinforcement plates welded into each door mount. I am not sure what is going on with the driver's side seat mount. Looks like it may have been a victim of the "stereo system" install.

In this last picture you can see some mold on the seat. What product will kill it without messing up the vinyl? My neighbor's garage was subterranean and I need to kill the mold on the perfect rear seat. The front is shot but the mold smell is killing me while working on this. IH8MOLD.

Lysol is always a good place to start when it comes to killing mold, mildew, bacteria...

Saw some lens's at Cool Cruisers (NEW), but not buckets...Price is high.

I have a lens and chrome and a lens chrome and bucket...not sure which side on each. Planned to sell on Ebay as my assumed deal on a late model died.

One thing for sure...as ugly as that rubber is, I would hang on to it.

Took a quick look at CCOT... effectively $50.00 each for a new lens.
