Santa brought a 100 series for my 3 year old. So I had to make it just like his mom's.

I figured since I mentioned the 40 I should throw in a picture of that.;)

Not to hijack, but do you have a link to the build thread for you 40? It is beautiful!

Thank you! It started out as a simple engine swap that snow balled in to what it is. I did take a lot of pictures but never got around to starting a build thread. It will be getting some upgrades this winter.

This rig is amazing!

I guess I have not been on here is a while. This is a very cool build. 105 parts are plentiful here and if I was adventurous I would try to do an SAS conversion using 105 parts while here. But I don't have a garage here and don't trust anyone here to even change the oil on the 100. Nice work.

I guess it is time to up date the thread. Not much has been done over the last year except drive it. I have put over 5,000 miles on it since the swap and I still love the way the ORI's handle.

I did replace the rear u-joints;)

Once again, great work!

So... now that you have some perspective: would you do it again? Is this truck that much "better" than a similarly set-up 80 series? And if so, in what ways? (Other than engine power)

Mark

Would this be considered a 90-series? Or a 180-series?:hmm:

If I could go back, I would do it again. I may have chosen something a little smaller like a GX470 instead. That is mainly because of the size of the vehicle vs. the trails I am on. If I were to wheel anywhere else the 100 would be an ideal vehicle but it seems like I spend more time trying to buff out scratches than anything else.:rainbow:

I can't compare it to an 80 since I have never driven one. I can only speak for the 100 and it does everything I set out to accomplish. I can crawl a trail and then cruise down the highway in comfort.

There is already a 90 series and I didn't want to confuse anyone, so I did an 180 and went another direction. :hillbilly:
