Pretty quiet in here... what are you working on?

I also took advantage of the warm weather, took a night off from overworking, and got some R&R installing the aux tank with skid plates back into the 40 (pretty sad when you consider solo installation of one of those Conferr style tanks R&R (I hate threading nylon lock nuts on 10+ inches of threaded hanger bolts).

Now to find the gremlin making my fuel gauge not work with the OEM tank...probably a case of circuitis interruptis.

Adjusted the clutch on the 40. Took a few layers of skin off my knuckles and invented a few new words in the process.

Finally started on the facelift for the 40 ...

So now I have to paint the other fender to stay ahead???

Fired up the 40 and finally got around to chopping out the front half of the "roll bar" so I can fold down the windshield and rat patrol it around this year. I'm thinking tube doors from metal tech too.
Still debating if I should chop out more of the fenders and raise the inner fender for that big tire no lift look. Maybe do a metal fender flare in the rear. I have to get in there anyway, so...
I've had some disc conversion brackets for a few years now, maybe do that too.

Ideas ideas

Finally after 3 difrent track renditions I have the driver seat done. I was able to retain the seat's adjustable height and the 40's under seat storage. Still have to wire the heat pads.
