Okay. Y'all are gonna tear me up here, but found some crazy cheap 22's and had to grab them.

Personally, I am digging it. Next step, 4 inch lift and mud tires. Sun went down while I went to grab some new lug nuts i'll snap another pic in the daylight. Hate the center cap that came with, gotta grab some new ones. Oh and now I need a black pinstripe instead of the tan. Unless I can find some kinda black & tan combo stripe...

I'm a big girl, my feelings don't get hurt very easily, fire away. lol, just wanted to share the pics incase in the future some other weird-o wants bigger wheels. :)

I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.
But it's not my truck, so hope you like them. I would recommend keeping the original wheels for resale, doubt there will be many that share your unique "taste".:p

Well you know, opinions are like....everybodys got one. While not my personal taste either, it's your ride and your money. Do whatever the F you want with it. Same reason I don't live in a neighborhood with a HOA. I'll be damned if someone else is going to dictate what I do to something I own. Enjoy your TLC in good health.

While not my cup of tea I'm glad you found wheels that you ( not the MUD community, they eat anyone who deviates from the pack alive) like! Enjoy your Cruiser because after all that's why we have them and why we come here.

All that's needed now is to paint your axle housings, hubs, brake calipers and rotor hats!

Yes, the original wheels are in the attic! (that was fun). pretty sure my Dad will have the same reaction, while we live nowhere near mud...or any kind of raised elevation at all, he's a "stock" kinda guy. (Of course he also let the sunroof drains stay clogged for 5 years and water sit in the floorboard UNDER the carpet, so he doesn't get to judge.)

I definitely searched for other Land Cruiser forums besides this "MUD" one, but there really aren't any that offer anything useful. I've found so much helpful info on here. I appreciate y'all input (and opinions!)

I am not a fan of the rubber on these wheels, but I had to go ahead and put them on so I could see how I felt about the look. With a lift and bigger tires, I'm going to be pretty happy with it. I like the Terra Grapplers but they are kinda pricey for my needs.

Because I said I'd snap a daylight picture, here it is.

Mud is going into convulsions, losing their foundation in what they knew to be sacred, and you continue to post un-phased. Much respect

Just out of curiosity, what size are those tires?

Yeah they are a little pricy, like I said it is going to be pretty tough to get mud tires for 22's, but I guess that eBay link that Funner posted would work.

I would suggest not doing a 4" lift, just because of the added complexity and cost associated with drivelines etc. Just do like the OME heavy lift and some bump stop spacers.

Definitely winning the "No Fawks Given" award! I like it!

I'll have to ask my husband what the tires on the wheels now are, all these numbers are making my eyes cross.

Even with the calculator thing I keep having to go back to my notepad to see what size tires i'm supposed to be searching on ebay.
OME Heavy Lift.... I'll have to Google that.
4" sounded a little extreme to me. Originally just wanted a minimal lift or a leveling kit. I wanted the front to sit a little higher than it does now.

I wish it was easier to search in these forums.....I search for something and the threads go off on tangents, and I've got the ADD pretty bad, and never remember to take my meds, so I go off on tangents with them, next ting I know I am googling snorkels. Wtf am I going to do with a snorkel?!?

I like these tires. And of course now I like those wheels to...

If you want an instant visual lift remove the running boards ;)

But...I use those! I'm short, and I feel like the black of the running boards and the black grill guard and the black pinstripe that is in the mail help balance out the black wheels. (I know, aesthetics, y'all are all gagging.)

Okay, I ran downstairs with the flashlight.
265/40/22 is what came on them.

Ooops. If you want a level stance:
1. Heavy springs on front
2. Medium springs on rear

If I wanted to run tire size 2, how much lift do you think I need to have enough room around the tire that it doesn't look like the entire fender area is taken up? I'm all about breathing room... but my pitbull doesn't need to be able to walk under my ride.
