Patina is great when it's original paint, or what's left of it. But when the original has been poorly painted over 3-4 times it's no longer good patina, it's just sloppy paint. Time to start over.Still will look great Arne but I miss the patina; I can still admire Wngrog's however!!

Yep. It seems odd that the Canadian spec rigs were a little different even back then. I think 1965 was the first year for Toyota in Canada. Personally, I have always liked column shifters. That was actually an improvement from where we found it. The PO was going to make a fertilizer spreader for his fields out of it and a 77 we dragged home to rescue both. It was stored in a lean to open on 3 sides, the 77 was worse than yours thoJust went back through the thread and saw my comment from before. haha. nvm. Nonetheless, still cool to see it there when this is how I see it now...
