Quite a bit of progress to share this week. We have to be finished by June 15th so the deadline is approaching FAST.

In contrast to the raw pict of the chassis (above), here you can see it nice and clean and ready for the build. Ignore the tires! Those are there purely for fitting.

Got the OME suspension installed.

Got the 5-speed transmission in.

And here's a good shot of the engine already in place. Got the aluminum radiator in there as well.

Bunch more happening this weekend so I'll try to report back some time next week. If you're interested in more high-res pics, check out our gallery for this project on our site.

Rear lights were installed.

Finished the body. Paint came out beautiful in the original Toyota Olive. We did Rhino Linings bed liner on the floors and underside.

We got it on the chassis and brought on the custom roll-cage. I'll add some picts of that later.

Epic....!

I haven't worked in that clean of an environment in a LONG time ... Love a clean shop ... At one time shops that clean were for the high end cars ... Trucks go out back :meh:

Times have changed

LOL - that's great. I will forward your comment to the team. They'll appreciate it. It's hard to keep it that way.

Made some progress over the weekend...

Got most of the interior electrical work done and installed the Vintage Air A/C unit.

I know this is kinda basic, but just love the way that rear utility light came out.

We're pretty much done with the seats. Took a new pair of Corbeau MOAB seats and re-upholstered them in a nice brown leather (with a slight fade to it).

And we're doing The FJ Company logo on the head rest. We wanted to brand the build just a little while keeping it discreet.

More progress updates coming soon!

The embroidery is a super nice touch....................looking spectacular!

More progress below. We are zipping right along and pretty much ready for detailing... The photo shoot is next week! This build is making me reconsider some of my own personal projects.

Got the LED's in, the fenders, and turning signals. I'm not loving the rubber bumpers. Any opinions on those??? They serve a purpose, but...

Testing locations for the hi-lift. Originally bought a red one but the black one is looking MUCH better.

RetroSound receiver installed. We also customized the pull knobs for the Vintage Air A/C. It's really annoying that they come unmarked.

Seats are done! Sparco 4-point belts bolted in. Check out the stitched logo on the headrest.

The embroidery is a super nice touch....................looking spectacular!
Glad you like it!

And now come the door panels (all done in-house). Keeping the same pattern Toyota used.

And here comes our top. We wanted to do a darker trim but couldn't get it in time.

I think these are completely useless, but they're cool as hell. :):)
