JP stay away from the one in KY ;)

(only kidding sort of, its a great truck, I just hate competition) PMing andy :D

I was thinking yours would bring 12.5k from the start and it seems its well supported here. Agreed maybe not on mud but there are so many POS rustbuckets sold for 5-7k and a lot of cover ups used to go readily and still do sell for 9-12 so it shouldnt be a problem bringing 12k to those that recognize the hard work and dont want to do it themselves. Id say try the bay and your local rich high school arena.

Good luck and keep us posted and dont go buyin that mixed bag o parts 45. But with each move it gets a couple hours further from me and a little closer to you.

One in Kentucky?? Haven't seen that one!! I didn't intend to mislead any one but that 45 I referenced def. isn't the one I am after. It would be way out of my league :hillbilly:

The 45 I am trying to get my hands on is already in my backyard ;) I've been storing it for a fellow club member the past few months and just fell in love with it and couldn't bare to see it go :steer:

i got the rig of my dreams (almost...was really wanting an early bronco) and has kind of been a HUGE pain in the ass since i got it.

finally got the wife to ride in it, she likes the openness of the rig but still hates all the time it's taken me to get her road worthy.

u know its funny though. My wife hated the dent but as it gets to running better and better and i get more and more fixed the more she warms up to it.

My wife loves my rigs too!

i think once i get the 700r4 installed and get the screwed up lift situation taken care of where it doesn't ride like a pogo stick she will like it more, during the fall/spring months at least.

until then it's just bucket of bolts/nuts that won't go over 63mph.

Best of luck with the Cruiser transition. My next Cruiser will be a truck like yours. I like the older style trucks and would like one in stockish form but not with a 1F. Either a 2FE or a TBI-2F. Hopefully I can scrounge up $7k-$10k in the next few years and get back into a 40.

Love the 40, and looking forward to picks of the pick-up.

Jeremy

You ever going to post pic's of this alleged cruiser?

i have seen it. It is red. No hard top. Bad rust in the back lower quarter under the tailgate. Usual spot as i understand. Runs like a champ with the 305. My 2f 60 can't keep up. It does exist. It does exist.:hillbilly:

It was not an even trade however. I don't care what dohcdelsol says. The diesel 60 he had was a monster.

i'm good at engine swaps/knuckle rebuilds and other wrench turning activities....i'm not good at posting pics.
