JP, just tell your wife that the 45's will be perfect for hauling around a bunch of kids.....sent ya a PM about one, send it to Andy if your not interested. Don't know them.

Not really surprised by this, JP has the attention span of a gnat, cruisers are the only thing that hold it for more than like 3 seconds. Even with cruisers though, every time he gets them to a point of being pretty much to all the way done wrenching on them he looks for a new project. I think he might like working on them more than he actually likes cruisers.

The real question though is why do you have to sell the 40 to keep the 45? Why not keep them both, or has ME already vetoed that idea?

That would be a resounding yes :crybaby: It has been made clear to me that I can't add anymore money to the cruiser hoard. I can only shift funds from one cruiser to another:o

Ha sounds like my wife. I've been trying to talk her into a 40, but i'd have to give up the tacoma or the 62.

I can solve 2 problems at once for you, just put a for sale sign on the 80 and tell her you are just shifting funds from 1 cruiser to another. Then you can get the 45 and put off having kids for a while since you will be sleeping on the couch.

The 80 is now my DD, as I traded the BMW in so she could get a new car...... flame away:o

Oh I bought my 40 to wheel I'm never going to wheel this one hard.
I'll never sell it. It was my first cruiser.

2 years later it was sprung over and on 37's
He sold it shortly after.

He buys this 40 while he has the 62
I'm never going to sell it. It's my first 40.

Proceeds to fix it up and then sell it.

Buys another early 40
I'm never selling this one.
I'm going to restore it back to the way it was.

Proceeds to take the motor out put a 3fe in it. Put a roll cage in it along with a 4 speed.
Now he is selling it.

So now he has an 80 series. He has it all fixed up.

What do you think is going to happen to it?
I'm pretty sure I know the answer.;)

Do as Chuck just keep it barely running and drive it.:p:flipoff2:

I resemble that remark. You got me beat by a few notches Mr. Virgo. Mine was 80, FJ Cruiser, 60, 100, 40, same 80 as the first and now another 60. None of which I ever promised not to sell. I'll wheel and deal to my hearts content, but the wife has some say in all of it too...

And I still have these two waiting on some attention........ and I must say the beige one I will NEVER SELL :flipoff2:

We will see if you are still saying that in a few years once you finish fixing it and some other cruiser comes along and interests you.

my "never sell" comment was made in sarcasm my friend :hillbilly:

:D You could always trade straight up for the 45....
