Got my scanguage mounted finally that I picked up new for $81 on Woot.com last year. Mounted it with a custom 3d printed mount someone on the 100 series forum is selling in small qty. Happy with the result. Need to explore the possible gauges it can pull though. Already added Trans temp.

^^ that is slick as hell!

I'd go with the silver tape unless you just looking for that gold flare. I would bet some beer of your choice $6.00 roll of silver foil reflected more than that $58.00 roll of gold

why do you think the silver tape works better? I really don't want to do either and leave it stock looking but that thing soaks up a ton of heat sitting where it is.

First off I don't think it's really gold I think it's just gold paint. therefore you got a layer on top of the foil that is actually able to absorb the heat. I also think the solid silver surface of foil tape is going to have a better reflective value than the pigmented gold surface.

So I did a thing. Packed my 80, drove 2100 miles to AZ, camped and drove trails for a week, then drove 2100 miles home. Cruising at 70mph most of the way, the 80 rolled like silk. Nothing special, just filled up the oil before I left, and used no oil in trip. 14-15 mpg most of the way.

Where did you go Izzy? We were in AZ a couple weeks back, even drove The Apache Trail up to Roosevelt Damn one day. Beautiful mountains.

Your camp site has grown.

We were south of Flagstaff, near Bumble Bee. I wanted to add some wind protection to the canopy, that worked great actually. The side panels are $10 each, hard to beat. The rug is an outside rug from Amazon, about $30, and weights about 2 lbs. Kept all the dirt out of the tent, made for great meting place too

man it is stupid cold in some places in the US.

Coldest i've ever been in was -26. That was no wind chill. I can't really deal with the wind too much when its cold I can't imagine a wind chill of -50. That's got to be almost instant frostbite.

Careful. This is how it starts. Trust me.

He’ll be asking to drive it soon. I started the trend apparently

Mine was driving our taco out on Cape lookout at age 8, and then our 450 at age 10. shes still driving the 450 13 years later.

Thats good to hear, apparently the 80 is the only vehicle I am NOT allowed to sell/trade so I hope its still around.
