Anyone happen to look at the ‘65 tin top on charlotte craigs and still have sellers contact or any truck info. Ad expired this am. Asking for a friend :)
@pkniland Patrick has a friend that went to look at it on Thanksgiving day. It seemed pretty legit from the pics and videos he sent me. It is a 3 fiddy conversion. Three speed converted to floor. Original single circuit 9mm drum brakes (yuck). Patrick's buddy drove it and said it seemed really low geared and that he didn't think it would go over 40 mph. I don't know what could be up with that? Anyway, Patrick can chime in with the details.

Dont have much to add, but I do have some additional pictures of it. It is now list on ebay, but with no bids yet.

Let me know if you still want the contact info and I can track it down.

Being that I'm in the DC area for awhile, and can't venture too far away, I'm making up for missing the Xmas party by hitting up Rausch Creek in Pennsylvania with Mr & Mrs Azeri and some very cool folks from PA, WV and VA. Many of them were at the Carolina Relic Run this year. We're motel camping. It's too cold and wet.

**I'm within the AAA 200 mile tow! And OTRAMM is right down the street from my pad in VA!

Start at Post #48.

Weejub Jr (Jacob) is doing an internship at an engineering firm in Charlotte this summer down off of I-77 and W Arrowhead Road.

He is looking for a place to stay for the summer. Anyone know of short-term apartments for rent or have a room that you rent out, etc?

His budget is as little as possible - - LOL kidding, but kind of.

Thx :)

My daughter did a 13 week fellowship in San Carlos, ca this past summer. she found an air bnb, and worked out a 30% rate reduction, since it was for such a long period. she had a bedroom, bathroom, and access to the kitchen and common areas in the condo, and they loaned her a bicycle to ride to work. it was still 75.00 a night. it was 65% of the award of the fellowship. she feels your pain

Bump for pic dumps! I hate that I missed an ONSC event but I had a great time at Rausch Creek and couldn't have asked for a better group of relative strangers to hang out with during my short time away from real life.

My left hand is the "relative stranger", John. You must have forgotten.

I thought it was just referred to as "uncle jack"

About 15 years ago I was working in McDowell county wva, we stayed at this rv park waaayyyy out in the middle of nowhere. The caretaker guy at the park told us (about 7, the only guests there) to call him captain jack. Kind of just occurred to me now.
