While I know that this is probably a high durometer anti-inversion flux capacitor stabilization isolator, I don't happen to have one of those in any of my vehicles. So...what is it? I found it in my driveway while blowing leaves from where the 40 is usually parked but the 80's have parked there, too, on occasion. I'm obviously not sure that it came from a vehicle.
Looks like the bushing that goes on the bottom of the 80 2nd row seats.
Never noticed one there, but my 2nd row has been out for 5 years. I'll go try to match it up tho.
Found this in the pantry. I don’t look there often. Will try these tonight on the InstaPot, see if does the magic.
Rubber isolator from the bottom of your leaf blower? I'm pretty sure my old Stihl backpack blower has ones just like that.

@NC LX The rubber piece pictured is slightly larger than the 2nd row seat mount and has no market pressed into it where the mount would sit, and I don't have one in my LX. The seats just mount directly to the floor.

Guys and gals, I am in the process of listing my wife's Volvo for sale. I put it on autotrader.com/kbb.com on Monday. It looks like there are only five of these cars offered nationwide and my price is right in the middle of the others.
I received a curious offer via text message Monday night and have been emailing the guy. According to his text he is currently deployed and serving in the US Army at Fort Huachuca Military Base in Arizona. He is not able to call me because calls are currently restricted. He wants to purchase the car for his dad. He is offering to pay via PayPal my asking price, in addition to any fees PayPal charges, and have everything handled through the transport company for title transfer. My online skills are seriously lacking and while his information checks out a little bit (People Smart online snooping) the hair on the back of my neck is standing up. I have not done an online sale before so this is all new to me.
My issues:
PeopleSmart shows email address may lead back to a guy in his 20's who just passed away in Phoenix Arizona (or a mid 60's dude of the same name that could be the purchasers dad).
The purchaser's name does show up in PeopleSmart and he is in his mid 30's.
If he can't call me because of Base restrictions, how did he text me to begin with?
For those who have sold something online this way, it seems like PayPal will only let me withdraw $1000 a month so it would take four months to get all the money out of PayPal. Wife's Hundy purchase is scheduled for May.
Is there a safer way for me to do this?

So for my education, what would be the proper way to go about purchasing a vehicle from across the country? I see those scary as hell car transports getting blown all over the highway every day.

I can't remember which forum on here, but I know there is one user here who does transports of vehicles and is recommended by all that have used him.......
Transport is not an issue. We have some really good transporters that are active forum members as well. Summit Auto Transport is one of them. The issue I see is that this person is buying a vehicle sight unseen and you will not have immediate access to the full amount of the funds through paypal. Sadly, scammers tend to present themselves as active military folks for a number of reasons. First, it tugs on your heart strings. Second, it is a way to make them seem like legitimate, hard working folks. Third, it gives them a cloak of protection. They can't contact you back for XYZ reason and when the deal goes sour, you won't be able to get back in touch with them either. Mean old military won't let them talk to you. Yeah, right. He just doesn't want you to hear his Sudanese accent.
I have had a couple of long distance sales. On the last one, buyer flew to Charlotte, looked over the truck and agreed to purchase. We went to the bank together and did the title work and money at the some time. He flew back home. I put him in touch with Summit Transport. Summit showed up at my house and picked up the truck a few days later and took it to him. That's how it is done.
I did one through ebay a few years ago. Buyer came in person from Virginia to pick up. Money was handled through ebay. It worked fine as well.
