I think it showed the difference between a couple of hands on 'do it as well as you can' guys versus the 'slap it together and drive' mentality. I like both. But I find the mcm guys a lot funnier.

I have got to post this guy here. @jdayment mentioned him on @lumbee1's paint thread. It's definitely worth posting again here. His channel is a bit like Chris Fix's channel and Eric The Car Guy. He goes into body and paint work, giving a good explanation of each aspect. This is definitely a do-it-yourself/weekend warrior type thing, but it's still pretty thorough.

Ratchets & Wrenches

Sarah was looking for something different to watch lately and starting binging on Roadkill Garage. I have no explanation for her enthusiasm about this show (and that's a statement about her, not the show). What I hate is that she loves anytime they do J-turns and giggles about how fun that must be but she absolutely finds nothing interesting about when the great James Rockford does the same maneuver. o_O:bang:

My takeaway: In order to be the perfect husband I need to find a patron, buy a couple square miles of land, build a giant garage, learn to weld, stop caring, learn to drive, make crazy stuff and let her watch the carnage once it's all done.

Also, when she was done watching them smoke the tires off of the Jaguar they built she looked at me with crazy eyes (and the knowledge of my desire for new tires on the LX) and asked if "our new truck can do that?". I'm not sure if I passed out from the shock or the laughter.

 The Draguar, one of my favorite episodes.

I absolutely love Roadkill. You'll get a kick out of Finnegan's Garage as well, Dirt Every Day and of course Hot Rod Garage. Those are must-watch shows.

Motortrend is killin it these days.

This episode was excellent for example. Putting a ford F100 body and bed onto a 2007 Crown Vic Police Interceptor frame. The bigger guy is Mobile Tech Lucky and he's got a great channel as well:

Must watch, pretty funny (not sure if posted before and I just missed it):

$222,000 for out-of-the-box death wobble. Wow.

Waffle fight and "burnout sauce" LOL! Might be the best Roadkill yet, and that's saying a lot.

@Burt88 check this out!!

Tested is another awesome channel. In this episode, they interview a guy who loves 3D modeling engines, transmissions, transfer cases and axles, then 3D printing them so that everything works. Check out this Toyota minitruck drivetrain!!

The king of random is an awesome channel

Thanks for the thread. I was asking the same thing. What's everyone watching on YouTube?
Good suggestions. A few I haven't watched before. The 3d printing is wild.

One that I've been enjoying lately:

Ronny Dahl

He makes entertaining videos about overlanding Western Australia.
I also have my own channel:

The Traveling Together Journal

It's about my 2 year long trip through Western USA, Mexico, and Central America. The trip is still in progress, but we have the first 13 episodes out.
