Nice! That is always a project you feel good after completing!Tackled the birfields this weekend.
What a mess, but got it done…good times!
No grease in them, but fortunately there was oil in the axle.

Looks pretty good under there!Good week so far.
Fortunate to have a great neighbor that hooked me up with exhaust and tuned my carb.
Magnaflow muffler, sounds great and runs like a champ now.
Also added shocks. Went OE Monroe’s for now….until potential lift down the road.
A bonus was they match the color of the truck.
Old shocks = 100% worthless, even had a bent stud on the front.
Rides real nice now, but how couldn’t it!

Did you replace shims/check pre-load?
@PabloCruise it was a Monroe 2916 stabilizer.What stab-lee-izer did you use?
its fitting when working on land cruisers that tear(rip) and tear(cry) are spelled the same. I first read your post, that I was thinking about someone crying in their cruiser.Seat came from a Ford Ranger. Has some tears on the driver side, but that’s a project for another day.
If I do, I try to do it quietly.its fitting when working on land cruisers that tear(rip) and tear(cry) are spelled the same. I first read your post, that I was thinking about someone crying in their cruiser.
