It was a tricky recoveryOooooof. That looks way too close to that little creek. Looks like it would be soupy at best.
I have one. It is from a 94.Anyone have a front DC driveshaft for an 80 series laying around that they want to get rid of? I've finally come to that item on my list and the wits-end price tag hurts my heart

Where are you located? Shoot me a price lets talk!I have one. It is from a 94.
Is 93/4 a double cardan (didnt think they were) or had this one been previously modified?
@2RUNNERTOM have you checked tatton's price?
Awesome, how much do you want for it?
mine is a 94 but none of the 80 series have Double Cardans in the stock shaft. I haven't checked tattons yet I was going to give them a call tomorrow!
Is it a stock shaft or a double Cardan? If it’s a double Cardan I will definitely take it!I paid $80 for it, not looking to make any $!
Ohhh gotcha gotcha!Agree none were DC stock, i was trying to ask Rafael if his was a DC unit for sure for you.
I used a 60 series DC joint and had it welded up for my 45 ... luckily the 80 has been happy without one but you've probably read the taco DC is a popular choice if making local.
Call tatton and a local to you spot and compare. which part of NC are you in?

Yeah my 80 is finally starting to get the driveshaft jangle now that I’ve gone up from 3” springs to 4”
Yep I’ve read through that thread about 60 times and have a lead on a Tacoma rear but the seller says it needs new unjoints and I have been finding conflicting results from people saying the joints can’t be replaced without cutting it up and welding new ones in which is out of my wheelhouse lol.
I’m in Charlotte and have heard good things about universal services in Concord and Oliver’s in Winston so I was going to call them and see what they think too before calling tattons!
I know @HENDOG has a Ramsey Winch controller down there that belongs to a winch that I have now.Not sure if this is the best spot for this post, but I'll probably be heading to Trollhole's in a few weeks. If anyone needs me to pick up or drop off something let me know.
Tell @Trollhole to give it to me this week. I'll get it closer to you or bring it to Meet & Greet. Might have some stuff going to GSO after next weekend.I know @HENDOG has a Ramsey Winch controller down there that belongs to a winch that I have now.
