My understanding is that the OEM winch is supplied by SuperWinch and is basically an X9. So I would think any bull bar would hold that.

They are Aisin for the JDM market.

Aluminum bumper painted black?

Black Ripple

East Coast Bullbars Product Finish Options

ECB's popular standard finish is a choice of 3 powdercoat colours. These popular finishes are known as "Silver Hammertone", "Black Ripple" & "Silver Ripple". Whilst offering superb eye catching appearance, the attractive and durable, textured powder coat finishes are everlasting and require virtually no maintenance. Perfectly suited to today's modern vehicles and busy lifestyles, this maintenance free finish, looks great as the range available integrates with many vehicle colour and finish schemes, whilst allowing you to enjoy your vehicle looking great all the time, rather than spending your valuable time maintaining the traditional shiny, finish.

All products with a powdercoat finish go through a 4-step preparation process. Once fully prepared they are then powder painted with the required powdercoat finish via an electro charged dry powder painting process. When they are fully painted, they are then baked in a specially designed powder cure oven at temperatures in excess of 230° degrees. This process ensures that your product is fully protected from the elements and the finish is there to stay, providing you with continued long lasting presentation and performance.

Here are a few pictures. There is a post here someplace that provides the specs for the 80 series OEM.

Hey all, I know this is an old thread, but now that HDJ81 are hitting the streets in USA (generally more in NA), was wondering if anyone had tried an Ironman Deluxe BullBar. I looked at the install instructions, but still can't quite tell if it would fit up. my other concern is the clutch lever operation. there would need to be a gap near the grille (see these pics). here is a better exploded view.

Thanks for any and all help!

yap I have to eliminate the stock front plate and make custome smaller one in order to make it fit .. no big deal actually ( I did at home with just a 1/4 plate and grinder ).

Tapage, did you leave the OEM winch in it's original place or moved it to the ARB winch ready bar?

Thanks!

I move in to the ARB bar ..

Ok, Thanks! Can you please share why you chose to do that way instead of keeping it on the original location and adding spacers between the winch and bumper. As far as I understood these are the only viable options when it comes to OEM winches. I'm debating which way to go...

I've got the OEM winch behind a Rallyspeed Aussie Bullbar on mine, it's been clearanced for the free spool handle, and had holes drilled to mount the wiring connector for the control, otherwise seems to work fine.

cable out height.

on the ARB winch it's mounted higher and therefore aligned with the cable out hole on it ..
