I would think the factory winch could be bolted up to any winch bumper or universal winch plate. Trimming and/or drilling may be required.

Pretty cool Tapage, whats the box for?

solenoid box .. ( the factory one that it's kind round at borders was showing some age )

Tapage, did you have to make any modifications to the mounting bracket, winch plate, etc. for it to fit?

yap I have to eliminate the stock front plate and make custome smaller one in order to make it fit .. no big deal actually ( I did at home with just a 1/4 plate and grinder ).

Mine is behind a ECB winch bullbar.

Modified the the OEM winch front plate to add support to the aluminum bumper and enlarged the opening for the fairlead; that was about a 2hours job .
Most manufactures will offer a winch bar kit for Warn etc. .... winches. For your OEM winch you will need to make your own mods.

Landcrusher, what is that bumper?

My understanding is that the OEM winch is supplied by SuperWinch and is basically an X9. So I would think any bull bar would hold that.

Not necessarily true. The X9 was OEM for the Hilux, LC70, LC200 and Prado in Australia for the past 10 years only. The 80's had a factory winch option starting in 1990.

I believe the factory 80-series winch is an Aisin 1000.

Who make that Bar??

I'm not entirely sure. It was on my truck when it was imported from Japan. No markings on it other than a laser etched "JAOS 4x4".

sure doesnt look anything like the x9. where did you get that info. i thought the oem winch was Aisin??

I know it is/was for the 70 series. So just an assumption for the 80 as well. But it looks like I'm wrong there. Here is a quote from SuperWinch "The Superwinch X-9 is the Original Equipment winch for the Toyota HiLux, LandCruiser 70, LandCruiser 200 and the Prado in Australia for over 10 years"
