Yea
Is this at a US Toyota dealer? If so do you mind telling us which one? I think the $80 parts price is more on line where as the 120 is probably standard Toyota parts desk price.
,
I looked at the link and it appears the pre-install bolt length is similar to mine.

I have a 2” lift with a Iron man bumper and 12000 pound winch. I’ve noticed it settle a little with the extra weight since I added the bumper and winch. I was considering adding this spacer kit to level it a little. Anyone use the spacers in conjunction with a lift?

I believe you can do it, but it may be a bit excessive and give you a slightly higher front than you prefer. The forward lean is good if you load up the rear to balance it out. Old Man Emu has some trim packers, and Dobinsons has a 1/4" spacer, which may provide a more mild spacer lift in the front. Not sure if you'll want to do a diff drop to help with CV angles after the coil spacer plus the lift.

I’d be careful using these with shocks that may be longer than stock. The extra shock length plus the spacer could allow the suspension to travel down so far the CV or other components may be in danger. Better options are adjusting the spring perch on the strut if possible, or going with a higher rate spring.
So yeah.. maybe contact whoever built your lift and find out if the shocks add travel. If so find another method.

Probably not worth the hassle. I tow my 40 and it levels out pretty good when I’m towing this was before the bumper install

Fun to see this thread still alive! I upgraded to a Tough Dog suspension system almost 2 years ago and kept the front spacers to avoid ending up with a big rake. It was a little high in the front right after install but after the springs settled everything turned out great, still a very slight rake but almost level and no adverse affects that I’ve seen from using the Toyota spacer with the aftermarket coilovers. Since your springs have already settled you know exactly where you’ll end up with another inch of lift up front. I did do new control arms to be safe. Details are in another thread but here’s a pic for reference.

Thanks for the input. Towing my 40 to GSMTR next week. I’ll see how it does. Don’t want to end up with the back end dropping too much while towing. One of the main reasons I wet to the 200 was for towing the 40 which is my main trail rig. Trying to only do camping trips with the kids and easy/moderate trails with the 200.

What size RGs are those?

So the factory spacers are 1”? I might look at doing a 1/2 inch. I may need to replace my lower control arms. They had a hard time getting it aligned when I did the lift. They said the bushings were frozen up and they were able to get it within spec but not where they wanted it.

If I’m not mistaken, the OEM strut spacers are 10mm. Not speaking from personal experience, but I think I remember several users here saying this would give somewhere in the vicinity of 3/4 to 1 inch lift in the front.

Yes, the lower arm works out to a roughly 2:1 ratio so you'll get about 20mm of lift with these.

To my knowledge no one offers a 5mm version but with these as a pattern it would be quite easy to get some made out of plate steel.

The problem is you run out of bolt length of you go thicker. You could use strut spacers like the Tundra crowd, but I imagine that would mess with suspension geometry.

I assumed they were considering using a 5mm spacer instead of a 10, but I might have had that wrong. If so you are correct, I don't think you can stack 15mm with the studs you are given.
