Glad to here there other options for lockers. Now I just need a full float axle...

I've dealt with Georg in the past and the help/parts I've gotten from where always top notch. I will also be nice to have another Canadian connection for parts.

A companion item to the Terrain Tamer knuckle ('swivel' in Australian) rebuild kits are the Terrain Tamer wheel bearing kits. Shown below, the WBK2 kit for 60 and 80 Series.

Terrain Tamer is Koyo's largest aftermarket customer and they have a pretty good relationship with them.

These kits are available through Can Am's retail partners.

We just got our knuckle kits in and it's great to see a complete kit full of quality parts. Some of the other suppliers leave out the reusable wiper components, leaving the end user to clean and straighten the old parts, but not these guys. This kit is all inclusive.

...no "nameless" bearings, all Koyo goodness:

The price was really competitive with other kits on the market and they showed up fast. There's not a whole lot more that you could ask for from a knuckle rebuild kit.

TERRAIN TAMER AT CRUISE MOAB 2015

Many thanks to the Rising Sun 4WD Club of Colorado for hosting the event and for the opportunity to provide raffle prizes - also to the Torfab crew who presented them on behalf of all of our shops and resellers. Terrain Tamer provided two knuckle kits (with wheel bearing kits to match), two TC kits and a Harrop ELocker as prizes. Well done, guys!

PS We're gonna do it again at Rubithon! Stay tuned for details......

DISCLOSURE--------------------------DISCLOSURE -----------------------DISCLOSURE

WE ONLY SELL WHOLESALE TO CRUISER SHOPS AND RETAIL PARTNERS....BUT

I bought a bunch of Doug's Tubs from Australia as thank-you gifts for some of our 7X Series friends and have a few (a dozen or so) left over.

Not selling them as a retail offering, but we are passing them along at cost as a thank you to MUDDERS WE LIKE (which is all of 'em). So if you have a 7X in North America and your rig is registered

At Jason's thread here https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/70-series-registry.125297/

OR Charles' thread here: here https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/u-s-70s-registration.804314/

Then you are "qualified purchaser".

If you want one, shoot me a PM. They are $30 each, half of which is included shipping via USPS. First come, first served, no multiple entries, points for style and spelling.

I appreciated the showing.

I was definitely impressed by what I saw. Next time I need a knuckle rebuild kit or something else I believe I'll give Terrain Tamer a try.

Those are super cool little glovebox inserts! Agree the glovebox is otherwise pretty useless. Even trying to hold my sunglasses and ipod on a recent trip hectic to have it all topple out whenever the door is opened.

I can't wait to fit one perhaps two pairs of gloves in my glovebox after getting this insert! ;)

Thanks for directing us to this great little item, Ben.

Ok guys. I installed one of the Terrain Tamer HD clutch kits in a customers cruiser about two weeks ago. I've been driving it every day since and it was picked up by the owner yesterday. He and his wife/kids own 5 cruisers .... This particular rig is an FJ60 that was brought to us when it was bone stock. We installed a turbod 1HZ, H55F, a suspension lift, lockers, dual batteries, OBA a long range tank, bumpers, a winch, ...... You get the pic. It's a very well equipped cruiser but also a daily driver.
The clutch kit itself looked great. It utilizes an HD pressure plate along with quality bearings ( throw-out and pilot ) and an Exedy clutch disc. The install went according to plan, parts fit was excellent.
I put a few miles on the cruiser every day for a week. The clutch feel is firmer which was to be expected. But the engagement is very smooth just like the stock clutch and the engagement "window" pedal movement from free wheeling to full engagement ) is the same as stock also. That makes the cruiser very easy to drive unlike my dodge truck with the 5.9 Cummins and 6spd. I recently installed a Southbend clutch in it since I do tow a lot and the stock clutch finally quit after 105k miles. The Southbend has great apply pressure and holding strength but the pedal is very firm and the engagement window from free to full lock is very short. I'm used to it but others have a hard time driving it.
Either way, I'm very happy with the quality and performance of the Terrain Tamer clutch so far. We have another one going into a Diesel 80 shortly and one more being sent to a friend and fellow mudder for his project.
I'll post a pic in just a minute.

Hello Ward,

I live in Venezuela so my 70 series is not in any of those threads but I'd like to bought one of those tubs! (If you still have one available).

You can ship it to my brother's home in Miami and I'll get it shipped from there to Caracas. [emoji2]

I hope that'll be possible.

Thanks!
