My entire interior is out of my rig right now (75% finished with new headunit, speaker amp and powered sub install - Crutchfield rocks!!), and would love grey leather for my 1993 power front seats. I checked the thread and it looks like final fitment, quality and pricing is still TBD. Keep us posted, and put me on the list!!

Thanks Greg for the compliments.. Your still in time for your kit but would have to get in on it today, I placed an order yesterday but I called just now and your still in time. Your looking at $625 shipped for the front row with center console and door arm rests.

We throw the bait(Jeep) out first so the wolves(Land Cruisers) can have a feast.. LOL Heres another video. Driving a heavy 80 with stock gears and a an automatic, up these huge inclines was a challenge and at the same time trying to overtake an 18 wheeler. There were a few times when the A/T Temp Light came on, so I just made a pit stop and let it cool. Today my 80 series gets a manual!!!! Will post more pictures today..For now some teasers.

Not much information about the SA market, online.....in English, but as far as I know, all 80 HF1As were electronically locked.

Frank is correct, the Tcase on the H151 shown above is from a 70-series iteration. All the 70-series H151 part time cases have the Tcase shifter mounted on a separate POD on the right side of the transmission as shown on Frank's photo.

Update - H151F progress

Made to Bogota this tuesday and my rig has been in the shop all week getting its new tranny installed. Thanks to mudders on here who have provided key insight on doing the swap, has made the conversion fairly straightforward.

I also took advantage and got a snorkle installed, I opted for the pre filter housing. I have always liked the look. I hope to have my 80 back on the road tonight!! For now some pictures...

Teaser update.. Just sourced a brand new complete zero mile 1FZ-FE engine for $4k installed. I am seriously contemplating doing the swap.

I am also enjoying the H151F. This weekend will get put to use as we are headed to the "Los Llanos" a 4 hour trip to the valley where there will be wheeling and beers.!!!
