No additional vent tubes. We used the ones that were in the car. Those trucks had very simple vent systems and no emissions....later tanks will always have more going to them for the emissions stuff.

Don't forget to run a fuel return if using fuel injection.....

Badge went here to cover up some misc holes.

The vents in the OEM tank are pretty substantial....I can't imagine needing more than those 2.

Looks like 3FE fuel pressure regulators are no longer available....I searched and searched. Nothing. We are going to run this one off of an MR2....everything is the same except for the position of the vacuum nipple on the top and the tab on the bottom. No big deal.

Stacking up the 3FEs for future projects. These things are getting harder and harder to find. And more expensive too.

Let us know how it works! Are those readily available from Toyota? That would be a big win to have another option :)
Also this build is amazing and has been a blast to watch.

Edit: have a part number for it?

Since you’re giving the wagon a modern drivetrain, I thought I'd modernize a few other bits for ya...

No part number. I ordered it on Amazon. I will see what part number I ordered and post it. It will be great if it works.

I searched everywhere for the 3FE one and it looks one company makes it....they don't have any. Maybe a production run holdup or something.

According to my tech, all the Toyota fuel injection systems(or at least that type of fuel injection system) use 43psi. He said it's a very simple system and as long as it fits, it will do what we need it to. He was 100% right saying that most likely the only difference was location of fittings. There were either male or female FPRs from Toyota it seems in the mid 90s. This one looks identical to what I took off. We'll see. When I was researching, I saw a post on Mud that somebody picked one up on Rockauto in July(a 3FE specific FPR)...they don't have them any longer though.

Awesome! I think I found it online for $27. :D That is way cheaper than the aftermarket for the 3fe.

I think I paid about that on Prime. It's worth a shot I figure. And like I said...I searched high and low and couldn't find the 3FE one. Summit has one but I think it's the Standard Part version and that one is not available from Standard Part. Bryce at Cruiser Outfitters called their supplier and they were out of stock too(they had an aftermarket one listed on their site for $140 or something).

Getting serious.....shiny bits are going back on.

This is probably my favorite part on the truck as this was my buddy James' truck who owned Land Cruiser Connection. He and I go way way way back. I'm so happy to have this truck nearly back on the road....hoping he and I can take a ride some day in this thing.

James would have some pretty impressive turnout for his swap meets back in the day. I remember this wagon some 15 years ago. I thought I remember it having a Ramsey PTO winch head back then.

So you remember when it was like this? Too cool.

Whoa....small world for sure. I remember your roommates avatar on here....can't remember his username. Concrete or something. Lol. Been a while.

So you saw the LV at James' shop in Winchester? I think that's where it was at that time.

Got this back from thermal coating....cool looking piece. Probably a little over the top but what the hell.
