Tight fit but I got them both in enough where I can just close my shop rolling door.

Had lunch in downtown Moultrie Friday and scoped out the new brewery. They were closed for the holiday week for some crazy reason but got a snapshot of the interior with a FST on display.

Do you have the Dobinson springs or OME?
No clue what’s on this girl, she came this way and the springs aren’t terrible, I’m guessing Rancho as evidenced by the shocks and bushings I’ve removed and replaced.
Probably a 2” lift though.

Installed the front springs and shackles over the weekend. The fronts went way smoother than the rears as its been many years since I last replaced a leaf spring set up. Did the ospho treatment on the front hangers as well as rust oleum enamel gloss black. My u bolt brackets were beat up so bad that I had to sawzall the u bolts off and ordered new brackets from Redline Cruisers. They should be in this week so I can button up the suspension.

Also, stock front bumper is still available from Toyota and relatively inexpensive, at least it was a couple years ago.
Mine is also Dune Beige, for reference, here is my front end with the new front bumper and license plate holder, but everything else was refurbished/restored.

Do you have a link to the OEM bumper? Looks fantastic! Mine came with a home made bumper made out of heavy duty c-channel and built like a tank!

34 psi on the new old stock Bfg at’s. Rides sooo nice with the new springs. I’ve just taken it on a couple of shake down runs before I torque everything down to spec. The front IMS shocks don’t have a lot of upward travel left so might have to get some larger bump stops. It’s amazing how smooth the Dobinsons kit rides for such a short wheelbase.
Coming along nicely, but possibly too much air in tires-inside/outside edges aren't touching ground.

I got it straight from the Toyota dealership here in Hawaii. I think the bumper was $115 when I ordered it in October of 2019 along with some OEM fj40 wheels.

New throttle linkage parts from @ToyotaMatt from Vintage Teq installed. New remflex gasket verses the double gasket that was on it. New Sema spec 2F sticker for a little bling. No more exhaust leak. I adjusted the carb idle mix and idle and she fires right up and idles fine now.

Been waiting on some fuel filters to come in to get the cali 79 running. They should be here Monday. Still can’t free up the screws on the inspection cover above the gas tank to do an inspection inside the tank. Will replace the fuel lines and fuel filter and crank her up for the first time.

Been a while but finally installed the tie rod ends and Dobinsons stabilizer on Montina. Still working through an intermittent carb idle issue but overall everything is coming together. I love the new stance with the Dobinsons ims suspension.
