Just got home, locked out, so beer from trip and cigar, fueled up a few miles from home , 2507 miles @11.66 mpg, also weighed truck after fill up-7385lbs, a little more svelte than Scrapdaddy, but these are 2 fat hogs
Toss in some paper maps and a road atlas or three and you’ll likely match up.
Some of us are lucky enough to have Pigs we’d trust to make a trip like yours. Congrats.

Glad it went well! Thats some pretty good mileage and lots of fill ups!

Locked out , BAD BOY ,Bad BOY what you gonna do , Hope the chicken are OK o_Oo_Oo_Oo_Oo_O:D:D:D

Need Led headlights, light bar for looking for camp spot. But lo

probably headed that way, I think this Moseley w/5 spd would work great in a stock pig
Agree, I assume what Delancy built in my pig is similar to the Mosely motor. It pulls better than any 2F I have ever owned. I can easily keep up with traffic and the PIG heavier than most, not near as heavy as yours though!

Man great to catch up & see your home!

The 6.0 has about 50 more torque but I think a 5.3 with the Trailblazer SS intake will get you all you need. I just have the stock vortec intake and I am happy with the giddy up in mine but I am few LBs less than both of you. I plan to go to 4.88 gears so that is only going to get better 🐌

I have the stock intake that came on the Silverado, but the Trailblazer SS is the best intake for truck applications. I would have done that if I cared a little more.
