Good news then, because I think the laser cutter bumped me up. All orders containing antenna mounts should ship out by Tuesday!
Awesome! I should be getting my new transceiver about the same time. Do you have any stickers made up yet?

I'm still waiting for someone to do one of these for a 100.... anything like this in your wheelhouse?

Hey everyone,

I've started my own little online shop with new parts coming out soon, mostly geared towards 100 series cruisers. I dubbed it Massive Metal Shop (wishful thinking). My goal is to put out high quality parts that people want and enjoy using, but I am tired of dealing with unreliable shops, owners, middlemen, and just purely shady people in general. I mean, you can only really count on yourself, right? So to that effect MMS was born and my soon-to-be offerings will all be my original designs. It's a great benefit to have full autonomy from conception through production as well as every other aspect of a business.

Hopefully you guys will like what you see coming from the shop! I'm a one-man show but I'll do my absolute best in every aspect of the business. Thanks!

Thank you for you order! It will ship today. I appreciate your business!

They come raw stainless steel so you can install them as is or paint them to suit.

What are we looking at here? The bumper?
Yes, what do they call those streamline or low pro bumpers? I've been thinking about one of those since the day I picked up my 100, but no one makes them...yet.

Those bumpers look great with 4r's because they have that black section in the middle that can be cut out to nest the bumper into. I'm not sure how you would integrate a bumper like that on our trucks?

Here's what I want, and I think you can do it...

I want to delete my roof rack, but I still want some low-profile grab/holds in the channel where the rack mounts. I want this because even though I won't store anything up there, sometimes I just need to get to the roof. I was thinking just a little metal 90* bend that bolts to the original rack mount location, sticks up an inch or two and allows me enough grab to confidently hold on to the roof while standing on the slider. They'd be almost invisible to anyone standing on the ground.

Make this, call it the "MGA roof rider" and I will not only greatly reduce my royalty fee, but will also pay full price!

Haha, I hadn't quite worked that one out yet, I was leaving that for fab guys to figure out for me. My only thought was that it would basically replace from the the lower grill vent area and below. I'd imagine if this were something I'd be doing, since there are no natural cut outs on these bumpers tabs would have to be made to attach the remaining sections of plasic bumper to the steel one. With the behind the bumper winch plates becoming available, seems like the next logical step would be to create one of these types of bumpers and include some tow points.

I have had spectacular luck with Sticker Mule: Custom stickers that kick ass for getting stickers made for our local group. High quality printing on a great adhesive with lightning fast turn around.

I ordered M10 slot size somewhat randomly. Does that really matter? Why would one choose a different slot size?

Different lights use different size mounting bolts. Most imported LED "cubes" (with 4"-6" housings) I have seen all use M8 bolts. Imported LED's that are under 10W that have a small housing (usually with one 10W led and reflector) and similar use M6 bolts. Brand name lights like Baja Designs, KC, Rigid, etc. normally use M10 for their small LED lights.

Most ditch light bracket manufacturers make one oversized hole to accomodate as many lights as they can but that makes for a lot of slop. I offer different size slotted holes in the brackets so the fitment is better. I also offer two antenna mount sizes. Yes, it costs me more since I have to stock a lot more product but I feel the benefit is greater. Of course if someone wanted to order my kit first before having their lights in hand, or didn't care about the slop in the fitment, they can choose the M10 slotted bracket option as a catch-all.

Also, all bracket sizes are individually available so you can customize your kit if you change your setup later on.

Great info, that makes sense. I will be installing Rigid lights so maybe my choice of M10 slots will work out. Thanks for the info.

I see, so cut out the lower vents and everything below and replace with a low-profile winch bumper. I like it. I was going to ditch my bumper and run a winch plate only and have the rest butt naked, but I may have to play around with that low-profile bumper first.

This sounds interesting. When someone stands on sliders and holds on while the truck is moving, my friends and I call that doing a GI Joe. I might have to make these handholds but I'd have to call them GI Joe grips.

Just out of curiousity, if you don't have a roof rack why would you need to get to the roof? To wash the car?

That's awesome, we call it going Bear Grylls because he always comes in on the helicopter like that.
