No hams in our group - just CB and FRS. I'm hoping you'll join us, but I'm trying to talk Daniel P. into coming in Sat and he knows the trails as well as I do. It will depend on his work schedule. I'll let you know as we get closer to the date. Is that cool?

Here's the meeting spot for Friday 11:30EST (10:30CST) with directions from where I-24W begins in Chattanooga (at the I-75N split).
It's a BP station just past the Dairy Queen near downtown Jasper.

If no one is arriving Saturday, I'll just nix the plans for a Saturday meeting spot. Andy knows that place better than any of us, so I can talk to him offline about where we'll be. There may be some fellow MUDDERS from GA, AL & TN joining us, but haven't heard any confirmations from them yet.

I'm out, guys. We had a tenative camping trip schuduled, and now it has been set. I would love to wheel this spot, with it sounding like it might be the next Whee, but not this time.

I just heard about this through pillguy and am going to say I'm a 50% chance right now. I may have a long weekend and, for various reasons, missed out on the recent SFWDA ride so I'm excited at the possibility. However, I didn't expect anyone to be going in so early on Friday and REALLY want to check out a trail Friday on my way over first. It's about 1.5 hours West of Jasper and about 10 minutes due north of Gurley AL. By any strange chance is anyone interested in joining me there Friday and riding in to The Cove that evening? I saw about half of this trail once and have been dying to ride it again and see the rest of it ever since.

Pillguy, keep me posted as to your schedule when the time gets closer. I'm still planning on meeting you when you get to Jasper Friday evening. Do you think you and Andy will have comms on HAM?

Rick & Andy, please keep me and pillguy informed as to where you plan to camp Friday cause neither of us know the place as well as you guys. If, by any chance you have a waypoint or GPS coordinates of the place you're staying, please send that to us.

we have someone named adam who goes by zombie defense unit wanting to join u guys on the trip. He is getting ready to move to west virginia though so i told him i did not think the club would mind if he joined without becoming a member 1st. Any thoughts?
