Arighty, just registered. Maybe third time is a charm for actually being able to make it. Plan is to get there by 0900 Saturday morning.

Anyone bringing their kids? I'll have my 3 boys with me, Ages 10, 8, & almost 3. All 3 have been going wheeling since about 6 months old, but this will be their first organized event. Looking forward to a great time!

Might be able to do a day trip Friday (fall sports), any real agenda that day?
Nope. No organized runs. Meet others and find people to wheel with based on your schedule and limits. This event follows the old school way of strangers meeting up and doing what they will.

It’s perfect. Is Troy the right weather to follow?

Since I'm only attending on Saturday and my first club event, I'm trying to plan for my trip out there. What time does everyone typically get up and start planning to hit the trails? What GRMS channel does everyone use for the most part? Just trying to miss the least amount as possible. -Cheers.

We usually start thinking about hitting trails around 9:00-9:30. It's alot like herding cats though. Invariably somebody will need to go get a trail pass at the Outpost (don't forget to get that). We'll end up waiting around for one reason or another. If we get out there by 10:30 - 11:00, that's usually par for the course. We don't all use the same channel. Each group picks and chooses their own channel to avoid cross talk. Channel decisions are usually made by the trail leader before we pull out of camp. Sometimes the channel will have a lot of noise, so we change it up on the fly as needed.

Ok good deal. that more or less lines up with what I was thinking. But also didn’t want to be running behind either.

Had a change of plans, won't be able to make it out until Friday.

Oooh, almost forgot. Anyone who has random stickers they don't want, taking up space, bring them! I need to finish sticker bombing the motel's door.

Our family had a great time at LR this year! It was the first time Sarah or the boys had been to an event. Thanks to everyone who made it happen. My oldest seemed to really enjoy the trails so it's looking like the 60 will have the rear seat put back in next year so we can bring that to some events as well. I'm not sure if him having s'mores for the first time was his favorite part or the actual wheeling but both put a huge smile on his face!

Sarah's new LX did great on the couple trails we did and came away with some scarred side steps but otherwise no issues and, luckily, no Michelin Defender carnage.

I also finally branded her new truck with an ONSC sticker.
