Im heading coast to coast this week for about a month, this is my second iteration for overlanding. solar is a folding renorgy that stows behind rear drawers out of way and it hooks into 4xlabs bumper via an aussie made anderson plug I installed. I have an anker powerhouse, and a 1000watt humless power box a gopwer 700 watt PSW inverter. a DFG titling fridge slide made in USA 300 bucks two halon ext. on board air AB twin rear fender insert air tank under rig. outlets fr/rear 134 and 81L alu boxes. roofnest RTT with 12volt heating pad along with 5 kifaru sleeping bags. rhino rack oztent batwing awning

LOL ! so those Toyota 2000gt’s are pulling anywhere from $1.2million to an auction high of $4.1 million dollars!!! I wish that was my expo rig.. apologies for the teaser. :)

My expo rig-originally an 80 - I bought for $700 with a bent axle and slapped some baconbits (55 parts) on it and maybe have $4k cash and $1.2million in sweat equity: First cut / last cut. :)

At first glance I thought it was a land rover pickup. She looks great.

Yeah the original plan was for a softtop rear to somewhat hide the Landrover-seque top shape. But the pickup is so much more useful without the softtop hoops and bars in the way. at some point I will get around to de-Landrover the top :)

I work in downtown San Rafael and I see you drive by my office all the time! Very cool truck, I never once mistook it for a Rover.
