much more to come :)

So thats about $4700 US for a 3/4 tub then shipping. For a 45 bed $5500. Cant imagine that would be cheap unless a container full is coming over.

Actually the USD is $1.20 against the Euro. So thats $5640.00 for the 3/4 tub and $6600.00 for the 45 bed plus shipping from France. Maybe not so reasonable.

I do like the diagonal supports for the rear frame crossmember. But the actual crossmember itself appears to be for later rigs with rectangular tail lights. I’m going to need a new crossmember and diagonals for my ‘64, wish this was correct for that.

No threads for the hardtop sides, no mounting holes for the front support brackets for the seats, no threads for the tranny hump, no holes for the rear door catch.

Looks to be a very nice product, but it also looks like some of the important details are missing.

It's interesting that there a some real craftsmen in different countries. However, the problem always exists that long distance creates shipping costs for large body parts that usually kill the deal unless you're within perhaps some driving distance that's livable.

Even if Toyota were still stamping out Land Cruiser body parts today, I do think their reputation for pricey parts would prevail and not be much if any cheaper than some of the local craftsmen. The difference would be that a dealership network could get those parts physically much closer to the end user (if Toyota absorbed the extra freight charges).

So, lucky are the guys closer to these craftsmen who can get new parts that don't totally kill their bank account.

...for when I have money to spend on a 45...

Well at teh exact second i used the google currency convertor it was $1.22 so there.... haha @76 FJ40

Do they do reproduction hardtop side panels?

THIS ^^^ I would hate to have to order these from France, but at least there would be an option. Given that the hard top sides are a common place that these trucks rot out, I'm surprised nobody has brought these to market yet...

Cheap when you think about paying someone $120/hr to restore your truck. The probably average
2-4 yrs if not longer that most take to finally get around to restoring. The usual extra hundreds if
not thousands of dollars people procrastinate and pontificate trying to save $100 or $700 here or there.
if anyone could get off their butt to actually do the work, you'd find it would take a heck of a lot of hours
to do it.
Buying all done, ready for paint... probably a lot cheaper. My .02
I've rebuilt an entire tub for a FJ40. From the rails down. It's been years.... if I could have bought it complete then.
Damn right I would have,

Hello :)
toyota parts are not all the sames...if you make a hole on all your fabrication and it is not good , customers will kill you by saying, "there is a fxxxing hole in my parts that is not corresponding !!! it's a shame !! :)"
so this is a choice...if you know to use a drilling machine i think it is more reliable to make thoses simple holes yourself no ? :)

but if you really need them, we can make them for you :)
