Saw this in my local dealer today. Didn't get a chance to look at the sticker but will do the next time I'm back. They're supposedly an MSRP dealer but we'll see with the add-ons lol.

There's a "MSRP Dealer" in KC that somehow (wink, wink) managed to find two used 250 series (each with around 200 miles on them) and have them listed for around $15k over sticker.

That's the loophole for the Toyota "Preferred" dealership, I guess.

I saw one very similar to this at Overland Expo West in Flagstaff it was in the Lexus booth and sticker on it was 85K

I think the 250 needs more clearance. Dinged up my skids multiple times.

I had been on the wait list with a local dealer since last July and was waiting for a non-sunroof and non-20” wheel mid trim. But was offered this black Land Cruiser trim for $2k under MRSP instead and decided to go for it. Very excited to finally have my LC!

Getting full front PPF and ceramic tint this week and ordering a set of 2024 18” TRD wheels. Any suggestions on 33” tires?

SCS F5_05.jpg

New wheel/tire setup: 18x9 +12 SCS F5's, 285/70/18 Falken Wildpeak AT4W's. Removed front mudflaps, body mount support pieces, and front air dams. Driver side still rubs the front fender liner at full lock. Hoping the Westcott Designs preload collar will get rid of the rubbing. Planning on running just the preload collar instead of the full Westcott Designs kit.

It's your vehicle, but I'd stay far away from that Westcott preload collar. Seems like one of the worst ways possible to lift a vehicle.

If you want something cheap and simple, I'd instead just go for a small spacer that fits on top of the strut.

The rubbing could also be from the offset of those wheels. Hard to tell form a side view, but it looks like they are sticking out kind of far.

"BuT itS nOt a SpaCeR LifT!"

I wish they would stop marketing it that way. I had a conversation with Ben (Dissent) and a number of folks about this at LCDC. My suspicions were confirmed that Wescott markets to the street truck crowd.

(I had never heard of them until recently)

Thanks man!

I'd go for a spacer lift as well, any recommendations? Will eventually go for a full suspension set-up once more options are available. Just want to level the front in the meantime.

There is definitely some poke and the new set-up does sticks out a skosh past the fender flares. Will try to get a pic later today.

I think the Westcott lift might be both the spacer part and the spring preload part. Not sure, but that's what it is on the Tacoma. May just use the spacer part.

I wouldn't hold my breath about a lift fixing a rub on a turn, though. Even if it did for normal, day-to-day driving, the rub will still be there when the suspension compresses.

I talked about this in another thread starting here

Cliff notes:

Stock front suspension travel is 8" With 4" of droop. a 2.5" spring pre-load "lift" will leave you with 1.5" of droop.

There is .35" of shock travel left at full bump. The tallest top spacer I would recommend is 1/4" thick. This will raise the ride height by 1/2"-1" and increase suspension travel by the same.

I'll be putting in a 1/4" spacer in a couple days.

It is the worst but most are doing so only for looks instead of ride quality, performance or even off road clearance.

Hi @RaddyCruiser, what % tint did you do on the front windows?

Thanks @turbo8 ! What 1/4" spacer are you going with?
