Y’all gotta know that was not for my wife. I’d never buy generic anything......
Generic? Just lol. Calling Dysport generic just because Botox is in the common vernacular is like calling the FJ40 generic because everyone refers to them as Jeeps.

And, sorry to confuse the thread. @wngrog posted the pallet from @orangefj45 at the same time I opened the box of cosmetic products, and it occurred to me that the small pile of boxes on my desk was comparable in price to the pallet from @orangefj45, and it blew my mind. I never meant to infer that I was sending that to @wngrog in trade/payment.

I'll try to keep my posts more on-topic.

You're messing with a bunch of old men, you know. :)
Sorry to confuse y'all. My brain is like a scrambled egg at times. Just be happy you aren't in the text stream between @wngrog and myself... I confuse and annoy the heck out of him with my random stream of consciousness. It is difficult for me to be 500 miles away and want to feel like I'm included with the build. When I sent my FJ45 off to Proffitt there was very little communication, and when I finally got the truck back after 4 years there were quite a few things that were done that I was not exactly happy about. I am trying to avoid those disappointments with this project/build.

And I guess sometimes being a drug pusher pays off... especially to vain women. Just got these small boxes of Dysport (competitor to Botox) and cosmetic fillers in. Each of the long boxes sells for $625, and the little boxes work out to $1k/box. Almost $6k of cosmetics in this picture just to make our 50-60 y.o. patients keep their 35-40 y.o. boyfriends thinking their girlfriends are 40 y.o. lol. I guess it brings them joy, just like our money pits bring us joy. Ours just last longer since the women keep having to coming back every month to keep up their rouse.

How do they keep their V-jay's fresh?

A little crossmember tech. I’ve been putting split cases in all of my 40/45/55 swaps and although you can hang the complete apparatus via the early 4 speed bellhousing with their 4 mounts, I prefer the early 60 3 piece crossmember. On the 40/45 you can only use the middle section and not the angle brackets because the frame is too narrow. On those I use 1/4” flat plate.

For the 55 all that needs to be done is trim some of the drivers side of the main section off.

I pulled the Warthog in and took the proper photos and got busy.

You can see how much was trimmed off the crossmember in this photo. Redrill 3/16” holes and egg them out a bit to make the angle of the frame.
Bolt it all together tight and burn in the sides.

Don’t be tempted (if you go this route) to push the transfer case up as high as you can. Since the side plates are welded in place you need enough room to lift up the transfer case enough to remove the center piece mount to pull the driveline back out for clutch work etc

Super helpful. Thanks!

I’ve been thrashing hard today getting all the under truck stuff done since I can safely move the truck up and down now that the drivetrain is solid.

Tore out the old electric fuel pump and lines and plumbed up and wired the Mosley Motors setup. I’ve got 3-4 separate detailed installs on Snipers and the Mosley stuff already posted so this is just eye candy for the thread

This corvette return allows you to simplify to one fuel line over the engine and shorten your return line.

Cut the OE frame stabilizer mount off and rewelded it for the full length FJ60 stabilizer.

Headed camping with my son tomorrow. This thing will make noise Monday. All I need to do it put the spark plug wires on and switch it ....

Me next???

One Pig every 3 years. That’s about when the PTSD wears off. I’m getting older so maybe my memory will fade faster this time.
