That's really cool you left the bumps and bruises but painted it. Kind of my thinking exactly and without any of them being serious on my truck, it's really unnecessary. I have the tendency to make things so nice, they can't be used, so a SECOND version of the project has to be built to use. It gets quite expensive. As much as I would love to have 2 of these trucks, for right now, one will do(a 4 door will be next though).

The LineX 650 will be sprayed by the LineX dealer in Sarasota, Florida. They do some very interesting LineX work...lots of marine stuff. We've got a couple of customers with Heeps that we will be having done in the 650...neither of them want traditional bed liner type LineX in their rigs....they're looking for smoother textures and matte blacks colors/sheens. The 650 can be done that way AND it's UV stable which will be great.

Great thread on it by the shop in Sarasota that is doing the work....

I'll be sure to post up some pics of the LineX on my new and improved website once we get them. Speaking of my new site, since I know the site developer really well(me), I made sure there were some cool Land Cruiser shots on the it.....worth a look. Some of the other cars are OK.....but those LCs are the best!

The pics are first rate and really capture your skill on your new website. Nice shop too.

Did some REALLY heavy hauling this weekend.....

It's been a while since I've launched a boat with a Land Cruiser....nothing like having that FZJ80's FullTime 4WD under my truck at the boat launch...especially the steep and slick one I used on Sunday. Not that this little boat was a challenge...can almost pick this guy up and drop it in.

Oh yeah....the 1FZ sticker is cool(and so is the cap)!

Torn between making a custom bumper for a winch or keeping mine. I'm digging the all stock look for now though. If I could find one of those winch bumpers in the US, I'd do that though....keeps it nice and stock looking. No chrome though. Ever.

If you were to go ARB would it be for an 80 or 79 series? Would you consider that as an option?

Good question....I think I'd do a 79 series one and adapt it to my 80s frame.

This is what I have in mind....

love the two piece wheels (right?)

Nope....one piece steel wheels. 16" spares from Tacomas, Tundras or Sequoias. They look just right on the truck in my opinion....

PS to Chris -

I still love the hell out of your truck and the new web site's a beaut (I'm a little slow....)

Those wheels look very familiar....thanks for the compliments on the truck and site.
