I thought the same but a guy here on the board said they have now developed the H41/H42 adapter as he is using it in his build. Maybe they just haven't updated their website yet. Even if they don't have it I imagine it is only the next logical step for them.

I thinking pretty hard about putting an OM617 in my other FJ40 as it has no drivetrain at the moment. So why don't you do it first so you can work out all the bugs for me :hillbilly:

HEHE, you can have it back but it is in pieces now :hillbilly:

As for the drivetrain, I am sticking with Richards old 1F that we put in it back in April...... only thing I am changing is going to adding the sweet dual SD40 carb. intake manifold that Marshall found for me and adding an electric Non-USA distributor. Other than that I am going to leave it stock and just drive and enjoy it :beer:
 
Update but not really.........

I didn't quite get the seats done last night like I had hoped, but I did get the driver's seat stripped down. Most of my time was spent trying to fix the sliding mechanism on the driver's seat which I was unaware was damaged. Thus I don't really have any "eye candy" to show, but I did want to post up a picture to show what nice shape the seat was in. Most I have come across are all rusted underneath the padding due to water getting in the seat, but these were suprisingly in mint shape :beer:

i don't even have an F bellhousing any more! I do have a 3 speed to chevy bellhousing!!!

Whatever swap i do next will have an overdrive either with a ranger OD or a 700r4

I figured while I was in there..." Why not???" Everyone likes seat heaters. I hope to make this my DD during the Fall/ Winter/ Spring. Plus I am getting older now and enjoy the finer luxuries in life no matter how ironic they may seem in such a minimalist utilitarian vehicle :hillbilly:

Pretty sure Dan we won't be able to say anything about you. I've seen you wheel. You don't hold back. Pretty sure you could make a moped look good out on the trail.

I tell ya....people don't have anything better to do than stick there crummy nose in other people's business.....I guess that's why I've seen large nuts that you would find on a ship or a large machine hanging off truck hitched instead of the ones in the article.....people who have a problem with freedom of speech should move to Cuba....that way they can have someone tell them what to do.
 
Okay you guys and your "truck NUTZ" and "boobs" have officially taken all respectability from this thread...... this kind of stuff belongs in Gimpy or Chuck's thread. I am trying to have a respectable build thread here not some MAFIA fiasco :flipoff2:
 
If we weren't all so freaking jealous of your truck we may just leave well enough alone! Seriously very nice ride wish it was in my garage.
