I have run into a minor issue with the LT1. It seems I need the corvette accessory bracket from that generation of motor to enable me to have AC, without notching the frame
I took the afternoon off from cleaning parts and built a rack to hang parts from while painting. It’s pretty crude, but functional. I made it from scrap metal I had accumulated, so other than welding supplies I don’t have any money invested in it. I will buy some wheels for it this week.

Nicely done. We have several of these rolling racks in storage so I "borrowed" one for a spray booth. Had a drop cloth draped over the top and three sides while spraying but leave it as shown for drying hand painted parts. Nice thing is it breaks down when not in use.
Ah! I’ve got both the exact same cabinet and that Tull album….man, you guys have great taste. The cabinet is so good for small parts and instruction guides
The album I bought around 1973? And the cabinet bought new at an office supply store in 1976. $3.79 and $125.00

I'm a cabinet junkie. Have a pair of 30-drawers (you can see how far along I got with labeling these 25 or so years ago). Also have a bunch of Stanley-Vidmar/Lista/Equipto cabinets in varying sizes that I've scrounged over the years. Would like to pick up a few more of those but they've gotten so expensive I doubt I'll get any more.

Several friends have shops with numerous Lista and Vidmar cabinets that they picked up in surplus auctions. Great quality, but a tad on the heavy side when I have helped them get moved. lol Excellent collection
